Any thoughts on Gascon - Nadon? He’s still available. Between him and Jake Thomas we’d have two solid nationals to rotate with the imports - bring the heat for all four quarters.
-
There’s always a 40 - 50% chance that a passing play won’t work. BLM overthrew some guys too, but they had other plays in their arsenal for later on in the game.

Precisely what I was implying - albeit with a little sarcasm...
-
Yes sir boys - we’ve got the market cornered on whoever shakes loose from the NFL - just think of the possibilities...
-
Or if they had taken the current regime's approach to building an OL I love their approach of not throwing the young Canadians to the 'wolves.' They started an American inside until they knew they could replace him.

I dare say the Lions just paid $700 000 for current CFL version of duck & chuck.

I was thinking Ministry of The Silly Walk

On DL It’s more about depth and rotation than it is about having stars as your starters.

All the woulda coulda shouldas - ran away and hid...

Well - I guess we could sit here and rationalize why they shouldn't have signed each of those receivers Bottom line though: they NEED to sign a receiver and they certainly have not proven they can scout any. Just my 0.02 - sorry about beating a deceased equine.

I'm sure he's looking forward to top notch protection in B.C. 😆 🤣

No. I realize I have been part of this as well - but I think we need to cool our heels for a while. LOCKED FOR 48 HOURS.

Ironically, BC could pay Reilly 700K and still miss the playoffs. They have done a poor job protecting their QBs in recent years, and he has got some wear & tear on him by now.
-
My thoughts exactly. We are spending less at QB but we can’t afford to pay Canadian linemen. As Captain Jake Sparrow said: “why is the rum always gone?”

That’s like saying no one shoots elephants because selling ivory is illegal. There’s not enough information or context in that interview. Basically, she’s saying women are being discriminated against but they are not underpaid. If it’s as simple as there is no gender pay gap because it’s illlegal - then no one needs to read whatever she wrote in her book.

That one live mic game was hilarious. Mile long snap counts, pep talks to his teammates on the sidelines - did absolutely nothing on the field.

Okay, the lady in the video makes the following key points, which I will summarize: 1. Companies employ more men in higher positions 2. If women want to be paid more, they need to apply for those higher positions 3. Yes, women are discriminated against in the workplace 4. We need to teach young women to have to the confidence to apply for higher paying jobs 5. Women are being discriminated against only because they allowed themselves to be 6. None of the above have anything to do with gender This leads me to several pointed questions: 1. How can anything possibly be that simple? 2. If women are allowing themselves to be discriminated against - how is she so sure it has nothing to do with their gender? 3. How does she know that women aren't applying for those higher positions?

Field goals should be worth 1.875 starting at the 10 yard line - adding another .375 points for every 10 yards thereafter. If you're inside the 9.999 on fourth down - you have to score a TD or lose 2.375 points Any player rushing the QB has to line up in a 4 point stance And in case they lose too many good OL to other leagues - may as well include an option to count steamboats - to the nearest thousandth of course

1. I'm not familiar with your math teacher friend's situation, but I do agree that if that is happening, it is most definitely wrong. 2. The facts are the facts. The teaching profession consists of approx. 75% women, 25% men. Yet, at the admin level, it's 60% men, 40% women. 3. I agree that the RCMP situation is discrimination and should not be happening.

Profit in the school system?

It's only been a few years since Saudi Arabian women could legally be in the workforce.
-
I know - right? Clearly it's the postings that are important - not who actually gets hired
-
I'm beyond incredulous on this topic. Of course that is an example of gender pay gap. But when I cite an example from the teaching profession, of administrators more often being male, you just dismiss it. Here, you have cited the exact same thing: not a difference in pay, but a difference in opportunity, which leads to a pay gap.

When I get paid more for banging my head against a wall than a woman does.

ex·ist verb 1. have objective reality or being. "there existed no organization to cope with espionage" When you say something does not exist, it means it has no reality, no being. To say the 'gender pay gap' does not exist means it is not there at all. When someone does cite an example or two, it makes no sense to say 'it does not exist.' Or are some of you just being deliberately obtuse?
