  1. Just when some of us were beginning to take you seriously...
  2. If and only if, the current OL can get it done.
  3. You’re not wrong - we’ll see what happens in the first 5 games.
  4. Dude - they misremembered
  5. It was true in Winnipeg last season, but it’s more my opinion.
  6. I don’t think it matters how he’s acquiring American OL. It’s just good to see shutdown tackles and guards out there, if they’re going that way with the ratio anyway.
  7. In my view, Walters' strengths have been as follows: 1. International OL: in previous years, you wondered why they bothered burning an import spot 2. Effective Young Canadians: Chungh, Goossen, Loffler, Demski 3. High impact FA acquisitions: Harris, Bowman, Dressler, Medlock, Bryant
  8. It does and it doesn't - there are 6 Canadian starers on offense this year.
  9. This is the worst case scenario, but it’s not impossible. However, with Bowman on the field, some duck and chuck to balance out the 5 yard curls and runs up the gut is a real possibility.
  10. Sure, but we all know what the biggest factor was.
  11. Football History says he’s more likely to be right than you.
  12. This team was nothing without Nichols last year. As has already been said, this is a QB driven league. If the passing game isn't much of a threat, teams will scheme to shut down the running game - it won't matter who's back there.
  13. Fleurry was beatable against the Jets, he let in some soft goals. Now he's playing another team with plenty of fire power that isn't gassed from the previous round.
  14. But they were about more than that. A good DL that follows their assignments can keep a scrambling QB in the pocket. If he can't beat them from there, he's toast. In this era, Mike Reilly is a good example of a QB who does both.
  15. This seems to be a pretty good source with several answers to that question. There are problems, but there are also solutions. https://spectrum.ieee.org/green-tech/solar/solar-energy-isnt-always-as-green-as-you-think
  16. Another very effective way to heat barns and shops is burning sunflower seed shells. Those suckers are dynamite for energy production.
  17. Multiple sources are the key. Oat straw pellets are an excellent energy source in rural areas.
  18. But not the guys shoveling poop on the streets.
  19. Hellebucyk faced for more situations where he was one on one with a shooter. Fleury usually had support in front of him; when he didn't, the Jets scored most of the time. That's part of the < .900 SP%
  20. That’s rather over-simplified.
  21. I'm sure we'll soon find the hand of Streveler reaching for the Beaufort sea...
  22. He needs to show that he can do more than just ad lib. If not, he'll be the next Mike Bishop.
  23. This is what they’re not saying - you have to read this post in the context I posted it in
  24. Bi polar is treatable to a certain extent. No matter the treatment, it's still a nasty and unpredictable mental illness that just wears people down.
