    They added extra protection in the second half. You can see it on every one of the Stamps’ TDs - 6 or 7 blockers. The Stamps made that adjustment which put the onus on the secondary to get it done in coverage.

    There was nothing wrong with the pressure in the first half. But then Calgary schemed to add more protection, which put the onus on the secondary.

    There was safety help on the incomplete deep shot and double coverage on most others - but really, the only plays we could are the ones he was thrown to, so you could be right.

    Adams is open deep every game. If Nichols could hit him a couple of times, it would completely change the game. He’s open and the pass falls incomplete. Jorden is covered but scores a TD.

    They missed earlier opportunities and then had a forth quarter meltdown. The deep shot to Adams should have been a TD. Then Jorden scores a TD despite being surrounded by DBs.

    Usually. If the QB saw blitz or cover zero in the pre-snap read, he could count on Milt to run a short post down the middle.

    You have to do it before that happens - Milt would recognize the blitz and break off his route.

    I don’t quite agree about the Esks D. Their offence had a lead at halftime mostly due to turnovers. Then they proceeded to not score any points at all during the second half. Their O showed up for one turnover aided quarter.
