  1. That blitz should improve when Wild comes back, as it would with a legitimate MLB. I understand the rationale, but I think too much pass coverage and run stopping is being sacrificed as it stands.
  2. Chungh, Goossen, Harris, Feoli-Gudino Loffler, Westerman, Thomas One of the American DL can rotate in as a DI. Use Hurl in some situations so you can rotate Thomas with an American. Start grooming a Canadian to play field corner in case injuries happen to any of the above. Keep the status quo: Mike Reilly is licking his chops...
  3. Could be an interesting film room discussion...
  4. Worth noting - our special teams units only took one penalty. https://www.cfl.ca/games/2397/winnipeg-blue-bombers-vs-ottawa-redblacks/#boxscore
  5. Which IMO is a sign of a team that took them lightly - hope the Bombers don't follow suit.
  6. According to my assessment - only KBF & BiggJay avoided a strike this week.
  7. The hilarity continues. I assume you've both watched the replay and noted the crafty push the out of bounds? We'll take it - all the way to 4 - 2.
  8. A fair assessment all around - not to mention short and to the point.
  9. Jeremiah Johnson and Andrew Harris did not score this week - leading to lamentation in the land of the lock.
  10. Lol, nope. Very happy the non - call went our way.
  11. Watch that play again boys - he pushed him out of bounds before the ball got there. Crafty play by our #4, I guess.
  12. Okay, I will have watch that play again - thought our #4 pushed the receiver out of bounds.
  13. It's pretty had to tell if an OL was holding or not, unless you see the replays or are at the game live. It's hard to know what Ottawa was doing, but the holding calls that erased the TD were the 'he's running past me so I'll grab his head' kind.
  14. The holding calls that erased the TD were legit. On the last play for the D - they could have easily flagged Carmichael for PI.
  15. They could have called PI on the last play by the D.
  16. I would like to see them throw Harris or Flanders out on the wide side (for a few plays) when a team is running a zone that leaves it open the way Ottawa was. They would gain serious YAC and force them to cover it.
  17. Seems to me he was romping and scoring a TD quite early in the first quarter.
  18. Who woulda thunk eh
  19. When were those days? I recall both Dave Ritchie & Cal Murphy milking 'us against the world' for all it was worth.
  20. I'm sure why anyone would predict a blow out, all things considered. It's going to be a close win/loss.
  21. Good comeback - but I'm fresh out of rainbow stickers
  22. You totally rained on his prediction - if it weren't such a dry summer he'd be drowning
  23. Not completely surprised - our O needs to keep Harris & Co. off the field or it's going to be a long night.
  24. Maybe. But if you watch the highlights, he only needed to make one guy miss at the LOS.
