He played when the game was much slower - but I dare say he would have been a superstar even in today's NHL. RIP good sir

Not a chance - he wouldn't trade for Mike Reilly

There are definitely half backs in the CFL who would've done a better job containing S.J. Green. Ditto the Calgary gaggle.

Now that we have the Grey Cup out of the way ...

WTF - he's had over 24 hours - bloody hell -
Als have a good OL and Defense. A solid running back combined with a few completions from 747 Crompton could get them a .500 record Don't forget - they were in position to eliminate y'all from the playoffs - last game of the season

Michael Sam Possibly Playing for Als Next Season

No one has to "support a gay lifstyle"- all people have to do is treat them the same as everyone else with the same rights and priviledges. Sexuality is not a digital either "perfectly straight" or "totally gay" choice. Sexuality is an analog thing along a sliding scale and homosexuality exists in the animal kingdom as well. I have seen a few examples of homosexuality in animals, but only when the other option wasn't available. I have also seen bulls and boars beat each other into a bloody pulp. At any rate, I don't think comparisons to the animal kingdom help homosexual rights very much. For example, many male mammals and birds do nothing to help raise their offspring. Do we then use that example to defend deadbeat dads? As my last comment on this- homosexual behaviour in animals (including primates) is not contingent on a lack of choice of partners- it appears to be innate. If you think that being gay is a matter of choice, ask yourself: when was the time when you found yourself equally attracted to both genders but made a conscious decision to go one way or another? I agree that it's not a choice - I would just be careful about comparisons to the animal kingdom. -

Just the fact that he pulled off the Ricky Ray trade should keep him there for a decade or so.

Or the scouting and recruitment down south needs to get better. I'm hoping for a shut down American left tackle.

I can see where you're coming from. After so many years of futility it's becoming harder and harder to believe that they'll get it right. -
I think we'll see alternatives to oil in the near future. The key is to have a variety of energy sources. I'm somewhat concerned about Canada's narrow outlook.

If someone chooses to live a high-risk lifestyle, be it LGBTQ or otherwise, they will still encounter situations where they have to deal with certain sanctions. The ability to donate blood is one of these, and for very good reasons. -
Considering some of our International receivers this past year...going after a guy like Ernest Jackson has merit...

Your next OC won't be able to do that either. Any opposing D worth their salt will shut down the run and make your rookie throw more. The best you can usually hope for with a rookie QB is your defense keeping the game close or perhaps chipping in with turnovers and points. You have good points for sure. I just can't justify losing that many games without Durant. Terribly predictable play calling also. No sense moving beyond a vanilla scheme if the QB can't execute it. Who's your QB coach? Either your young QBs were incompetent or he did a poor job of preparing them. Guys like Marve (2014) and Collaros (2013) are proof that it can work if prep is done proactively throughout the season. -

That's not cool -
It's always uncomfortable bringing dates home when you live with mom. Especially when you're 47...

That seems to be a chronic problem with all crews...some games I almost wonder if it isn't by design to protect the QBs.

There were also games where Pav was outstanding but the Jets still lost. eg. vs. Pittsburgh

Playoff Prediction Thread - With Grey Cup Winner

Calgary isn't going to gift wrap 28 points the way the Als did. Stamps will win, they might even shut them out.
