  2. Clutch kicks are important - but at the same time you can't nickel and dime yourself to death
  3. Thanks for posting your thoughts.
  4. That kind of talk usually brings karma - unless you're not referring to Durant getting hurt
  5. Whoever's fault it was - Calvillo looked like he was done after the 2007 season. The Al's OL looked to be past it's prime after the 2007 season. There are similarities between the two situations...
  6. I actually agree - not many CFL QBs could have executed Trestman's system as effectively as Calvillo did.
  7. And max protection requiring very accurate throws - which he can also do
  8. Neither Calvillo nor the OL were playing at an all star level the season before Trestman came to Montreal
  9. Should've posted The Ministry of Silly Walks...
  10. No need to 100% substantiate anything, just some evidenc to back up opinions would suffice. I did go back and read what you wrote - including what you and others wrote before my original post.
  11. You have no evidence to show that politicians do or do not work hard. I provided an anecdote, you disagreed with it - for no reason other than salary increases.
  12. The AHL defense, is finally playing like one - some poorly timed pinches last night.
  13. You've already agreed that many of them put in long hours. Anyway, we'll get no where, I'm moving on from this discussion.
  14. And you can prove that by giving stats about what they make - nothing about the work they do
  15. I knew they were well paid - most people know that
  16. Did you two have any specific examples?'
  17. Yeah, some will be that way, just like there are in any other career.
  18. Geez, I don't know. Some of them literally worked dairy farm hours - I kid you not. For example, I had a chance to visit with Conservative MP Kelly Block. She flies home to Sask on weekends to meet with constituents. Fly home friday, meet with constituents Saturday and Sunday, get up at 3:30 AM monday to drive to Regina, to fly to Toronto, to fly to Ottawa.
  19. I have had an insider's view of both Parliament and the Legislature - it's not an easy job.
  20. Also - all players refusing to drink Budweiser Prohibition Brew have been released
  21. It's a fantastic teaching resource - lends itself well to teaching long term historical impact and reflective historical thinking
  22. My understanding is they are vetted and dealt with accordingly. I don't understand your weak PM comments. The safe country agreement was made in 2002. That's the crux of the issue, not whatever the PM or the POTUS are tweeting
  23. I think it's a product of having veteran mainstays to build around - now that the Bombers have that - scouting and drafting can provide the prospects to keep building.
  24. Refugees have been able to do this since 2002 - it's just that more are doing it now. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canada–United_States_Safe_Third_Country_Agreement
  25. The article does not mention the third country agreement, nor does it quote any immigration lawyers or officials. Refugees who have not been granted asylum in the United States are permitted to cross the border and try to claim in Canada.
