IIRC, Chungh was the highest paid guard in the CFL, when BC signed him. I think some tackles were higher, but highest paid guard for sure. But Mike Reilly still took an insane pounding.

Neither of those two teams was going to beat us in the playoffs last year. They have not done much separate themselves. That's all I'm saying.

Blink was running behind a good OL in the Berry years. Ottawa the dispersal draft, plus some good draft choices and Americans. Goodspeed and Gauthier as good as anyone in that era.

I think would be wise to have the flexibility to flip RB and OG to an American - if needed It's also worth noting that they have certain positions on the team where the drop off behind the regular starter is huge RB, OT, some Receivers - hopefully they're taking a hard look at up and coming players for depth - they seem to do this quite effectively at DB and LB

I agree with you. But on the flip side...how many kids actually get the world juniors...without that kind of training? I'd say almost none.
