The Inside Track
Believe it or not, I flew to Ottawa this morning and was seated next to Henry Burris: Dude is ridiculously into NFL & fantasy football. His kids play hockey (thank you Canada) A few tidbits he dropped about the game and other things: 1. Sinopoli was open behind our SAM LB almost every play. He said he could have thrown there more often but 'the defense had this one, it didn't even matter.' 2. Thinks the Bombers are a good team that had an off game. 'We cashed in on that and locked up first place, yes sir.' 3. He was talking about buying $60 shots of whiskey the night before. One of the coaches walks by and says 'thanks for the scotch. Hank replies 'any time.' 4. He likes to shoot the breeze with his OL - until two of them managed to move up to first class seats. Pretty big dudes to be seated in economy.

Man, it feels good to be talking about what we need to do to host the west semi

Donald Trump
Trump is rude and doesn't have a statesman like bone in his entire body. As for his brain - let's not even go there.

Playoff Bound
I know how much people love this argument, but he was signed to a big contract and started five games this year - decisions made by professional "intelligent" football people

Lions @ Bombers Post Game Discussion
I thought it was a fumble - we were lucky to have the call go our way on a very close play I really don't give a damn if that makes me a complainer The people in the command centre are human beings

SAM linebacker, kick returner, and you can put him at safety & heads will roll there - hell of a ball player

Blue Jays
It would bode well for the Jays - get that rotation rested up

IMO, it's rather late already...

Just for the record - I'm going to weed some of these distracting posts out but I'm not going to bother splitting them off into a new thread.

Jersey Advice (Or: Streaks, Rallies, and Superstitions...)
I'll wager there were fewer kids raising their hands or coming to your desk

Drew Willy
Plenty of teams have hung on to a vet QB because they thought he'd take them to one more championship. But That still doesn't prove that the Argos made a mistake with Willy.
-
Drew Willy
Nope, just think it's better to let things play out and not assume we've got it all figured out.
-
Drew Willy
Yes, I'm sure you're a better QB evaluator than Milanovich
-
Drew Willy
1. We had guys likes Picard and Morley getting beat snap after snap 2. Reilly usually gets hit when he scrambles to extend plays. He has a very reckless playing style - that's not on his OL 3. Given what the Argos gave up to get him - they are clearly of the belief that Drew Willy can still be effective

Our D the last 4 games.
In that particular instance, you're right

Our D the last 4 games.
TBH I don't expect him to change anything. I expect next week to be 'more of the same and let's hope it works'
-
Our D the last 4 games.
Partly. But I think his play-calling is predicated on minimizing turnovers. I think if he ran an Esks or Stamps scheme with the players we have, there would be more turnovers.

Our D the last 4 games.
Agreed, except that you can't ignore the slow starts by the O and the lack of red zone production, which many raised during the streak.

GDT: Edmonton @ Winnipeg
This is the same team that had a 34 - 0 lead at the half and had Reilly looking lost out there... Listen to yourselves..,

GDT: Edmonton @ Winnipeg
Those are exactly the kind of plays that were going the Bombers' way during the winning streak.
