  1. I am looking forward to watching the East final - should be a heck of a game. We could dream... Keep in mind, Toronto and Montreal are both good in the trenches and will beat each other up.
  2. I am leaning towards TO myself. Their D is dailed in right now
  3. The more interesting question...is who comes out of the East?
  4. As long as they don't look past the WF, the Bombers should win. They need to prove that O'Shea's mantra is not just word salad.
  5. If the good Lord's willin' & the creeks don't rise.
  6. People might want to discuss their equine proclivities. 😅
  7. Just did some further reading: apparently the Argos' pass D has had issues in the 4th Q, of late. Say what you will about our D...but one thing they do well is clamp down in the second half.
  8. Hmmm I wonder what the Argos' take on a single point...would be...
  9. Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg - are the top 3 CFL teams - not necessarily in that order Had they stayed with Vaj, BC might be in the conversation Our D usually plays Vaj tough...so we'll see...
  10. What hath God wrought?!?
  11. The token DT on 2nd and 25
  12. Good luck finding a new driver...
  13. It'd be interesting for sure. OL would need to get much better, and fullback couldn't be just an afterthought.
  14. Well, I could transfer Warren Moon into the 90s. Look, I am not disputing any of that. But I think guys like Flutie, with the training available now, would be able to make effective reads and plays against current defenses. Then there's Burris, McManus, etc. who played the same type of football in both eras.
  15. Sure, hockey in the 80s was less structured, but D - men got away with a lot more clutching and grabbing. Then you had the trap plus clutching and grabbing in tbe 90s. Think of how the Devils played when they won all those cups.
  16. @Brandon Some CFL QBs from 90s had significant careers in the NFL Flutie, Garcia, etc. Which of the current CFL QBs do you think are going to do that?
  17. Kelly: I'm on the fence until he starts and plays well in the playoffs. Last year was beyond abysmal
  18. The only thing you have to fear...is the deep itself.
  19. Canola spiked at $23 per bushel last year - it's down to $13 per bushel. Cooking oil went up x 4 last year - that's where it's mostly still sitting.
  20. I don't think that's possible. I mean, of course there will be exceptions. But the skyrocketing cost of food and other consumer goods, make increased theft inevitable. When poverty rates are already high, you get the perfect storm. In Manitoba and in other places as well.
  21. ^^ This is happening in many places, as is the closure of 7-11s
  22. Holding: I have long been of the opinion, that only a certain number of holds are called, by choice. It has unofficially become part of QB protection.
  23. Definitely. They could even start 4, if they wanted to.
  24. A smack* yes There are ways to counter what the Argos did yesterday. And the crazy thing is, with the usual version of Castillo, the Bombers probably win. We sometimes forget that it's a damn tough sport to play. There aren't that many good teams. BC is a dumpster fire. The Riders are starting nickel and dime Harris - that's the competition in the west.
