  1. Well, no...we have a QB who throws downfield.
  2. Which towns do you actually.....like?
  3. When Kevin Glenn's arm was broken in '07, I was banking on a couple pick 6s in the GC Hey Noeller, we were playing the Riders #ldcrelated
  4. In the days when the O continually stalled and pass D was routinely shredded - it was easier to expect a loss.
  5. Retirements and lower priced replacements. It's hard to imagine that won't happen.
  6. MB. Archives are still an excellent place to research.
  7. Yes, there waa a 14-12 loss to Edmonton that year
  8. Portions of '05 as well. They lost games where the D gave up less than 15 points. But they had shoot out wins as well. It was the stangest of strange seasons.
  9. For some reason, I recall some game early in the season, where the D was generating pressure and creating turnovers, but the O was just not helping them out There were definitely some close games, where they gave up very few points, but still lost https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2005_Winnipeg_Blue_Bombers_season#:~:text=The 2005 Winnipeg Blue Bombers, failed to make the playoffs. Good grief, right at the top of the page - that ridiculous approach to the draft Y'all are correct - let's enjoy this while we have it
  10. I recall the D being pretty good...until Rust left
  11. "He disrespected me on the internet."
  12. Also, the Souris / Assiniboine river valleys down in the South West corner. And the hills around Alexander.
  13. ^^ Happened in Brazil, in February
  14. You can be a decent passer - but other facets of the team don't hold up their end. That doesn't make you a bad passer.
  15. There are exceptions. Such as the year Ricky Ray threw for 5000 yards, but the Esks missed the playoffs.
  16. Agreed. And they will probably start by taking them for granted. But then Brady O and both sides of the trenches will start delivering hurt...
  17. Yeah, I watched most of the second half. Is this a good team? Does anyone...have any intention...of making a play?
  18. They will: Make it more interesting than it needs to be Show flashes of brilliance Win
  19. Also - "where's my dog" in the 2019 Grey Cup.
  20. Yeah, that was well played by the Als DB, got to give him credit for that one. The 3rd pick was just putting it up for Lawler - 19/20 that works.
  21. True. I did find Andrew Harris to have a similar style, when he played here.
  22. Things used to run in cycles of several years. Now we get drought one year, saturation the next year, followed by a somewhat normal summer. 2021-2023
  23. O'Shea for the W!
  24. 1. Jeffcoat - huge game. High impact, kept contain, freed others up. Our best player on D 2. Rose - secondary as a whole was aggressive and effective 3. Brady O / Demski - both equally effective on O HH: ZC - nice to see him bounce back. Hit: that Nicholls pile drive - one of many by the DBs Block: shout to our OTs - a much improved second half from them.
