  1. They could do that, though. Using something like a weighted mean would be pretty easy to do. They could also create confidence intervals, based on how often a team executes / allows plays > 30 yards
  2. "Only those who do not wear a seatbelt, get hurt." The final quote in article does not compute...there was literally stuff falling on people.
  3. Where did I say they weren't? Fajardo has been a good QB in Montreal, he wasn't that good previously.
  4. Could be, but sometimes you work with the QB you have - like the Als with Fajardo.
  5. Not sure which game you're watching?
  6. That was the achilles heel of the offenses quarterbacked by Nichols and Glenn. Opposing defenses did not need to respect the deep ball as a consistent threat. He's having nightmares of how to keep the centre off his butt.
  7. Ok. Then we agree...that it's possible for the Jets to be more competitive.
  8. I was doing the same. Their interior OL had his number all night. He got to plays after the fact, only because they had disengaged.
  9. Ticket sales will then remain middling as well.
  10. This is the part that does not compute for me. Yes, the Oilers were able to draft some super stars, but they still had to sign and retain them. They are also a small market and that's not much different from signing and retaining free agents
  11. Is that a rhetorical question or a self fulfilling prophesy?
  12. Except...we have a QB who doesn't play that way.
  13. "Run the play until they prove they can stop it...". That, to me, was one of the strangest seasons ever. A complete playoff miss would have been easier to stomach. I'll never forget Knuckles' doomsday tone, when he announced the Charles Roberts trade.
  14. If they are overspending either way...then yes...they could choose to develop a QB
  15. Thanks for the....context. Try being less judgemental.
  16. Yes, that has certainly been overlooked. Ahhh the heady days of strange characters on OB. Then was also a guy who always wrote long posts in third person. Dedos - IIRC Everyone wants to FO
  17. Dru Brown made some good throws. One 36 yard completion got called back - led the receiver quite well
  18. Chip it in! Kick it through there!
  19. 2 possibilities: 1. You're wrong 2. The QB position is overrated in the CFL
  20. This. I Remember sitting in the stands with very few other fans, watching Burris carve up the D, Bryant the only decent OL, and Nichols throwing to the receivers mentioned above. The final outcome was never in doubt.
  21. Offense is at the point where it's okay. D is getting pushed around in the trenches - until that changes, nothing changes
  22. I'm not expecting much. But I got a free rocks glass with my forty creek purchase yesterday.
