  1. I have been asked a similar question several times Being a person of faith, I asked more questions of the surveyor. The assumption was that I believed strictly in 6 day creationism No room for nuance
  2. The problem is the question: Those two things do not need to be mutually exclusive. Someone who believes in God, is not going to say they don't.
  3. Tell him he can bag groceries without a degree.
  4. Given the current global issues: The war in Ukraine Food Prices Droughts Etc, etc, etc To then have elected MPs stand up and say 'the more Liberals go woke, the more Canadians go broke' is just beyond lame. They need to do much better - just my 0.02
  5. Nice to see a consistent grinder like Lowry get a couple of goals.
  6. Scheer did the same Trudeau/Liberal/Corruption thing that Pollievere is currently doing. This is a very different Liberal government fron the one Harper defeated. They need to show that they have more in their arsenal than that.
  7. I find PP to be a more agressive version of Scheer - they'll need to do more than crow about Trudeau's golden toilets.
  8. I used to think I was biased, because of her unabashed support of Hutterite Colonies, but I'd say she has also been a good all around minister.
  9. Another that I've liked is Eileen Clarke, but she is older and moving on.
  10. Is Rochelle Squires running again?
  11. This is going to be the year of: "This is what we 'would have seen' if they Leafs were still in contention."
  12. I would say most people have a pretty good sense of who both leaders are Also, the PCs are losing most of their key MLAs - so whoever gets elected will be governing with an inexperienced group In that sense, they are both the 'devil we don't know.'
  13. Obach has his team on the ground in Selkirk. He is going to need a solid campaign. The riding now stretches into Clandeboye, Petersfield and Netley. Those areas of the riding shade more into blue.
  14. It will be interesting to see how much of a factor this 'spat' turns out to be The parties are not that far apart in the polls, and the Liberals have recently had solid showings in by-elections Here's what I would say could be some potential swing ridings: Dauphin Selkirk Radisson Southdale Fort Whyte Brandon East McPhillips Fort Richmond Rossmere IMO, whoever wins most or all of these, will be in majority territory
  15. This was about as direct as it gets.
  16. I watched the clip. If he's lying, there is 0 chance he will not be exposed - the accusation is 100% clear. Someone is going to come out of this looking terrible
  17. There wouldn't be any need for anything like that at the White House. Security would let them come right on in, and then preside over all hell breaking loose.
  18. Winter caught pike stored in ziploc freezer bags with a bit of water added - keeps well for a decent summer fish fry

  20. If Conservatives ever realize...that they could afford to lose 15 - 20 thousand votes in their strong hold ridings, in exchange for gaining votes in potential swing ridings, then their chances of winning federal elections will increase dramatically. But that would mean adopting more moderate policies - from which they are still a long way off.
  21. That's funny. But reality is, we will probably need to eat more beans (plant based protein)
  22. Much to the chagrin of the binge watchers.
  23. I mean, our next Premier is possibly going to be a first nations person with a shortened name.
