  1. I used to think I was biased, because of her unabashed support of Hutterite Colonies, but I'd say she has also been a good all around minister.
  2. Another that I've liked is Eileen Clarke, but she is older and moving on.
  3. Is Rochelle Squires running again?
  4. This is going to be the year of: "This is what we 'would have seen' if they Leafs were still in contention."
  5. I would say most people have a pretty good sense of who both leaders are Also, the PCs are losing most of their key MLAs - so whoever gets elected will be governing with an inexperienced group In that sense, they are both the 'devil we don't know.'
  6. Obach has his team on the ground in Selkirk. He is going to need a solid campaign. The riding now stretches into Clandeboye, Petersfield and Netley. Those areas of the riding shade more into blue.
  7. It will be interesting to see how much of a factor this 'spat' turns out to be The parties are not that far apart in the polls, and the Liberals have recently had solid showings in by-elections Here's what I would say could be some potential swing ridings: Dauphin Selkirk Radisson Southdale Fort Whyte Brandon East McPhillips Fort Richmond Rossmere IMO, whoever wins most or all of these, will be in majority territory
  8. This was about as direct as it gets.
  9. I watched the clip. If he's lying, there is 0 chance he will not be exposed - the accusation is 100% clear. Someone is going to come out of this looking terrible
  10. There wouldn't be any need for anything like that at the White House. Security would let them come right on in, and then preside over all hell breaking loose.
  11. Winter caught pike stored in ziploc freezer bags with a bit of water added - keeps well for a decent summer fish fry

  13. If Conservatives ever realize...that they could afford to lose 15 - 20 thousand votes in their strong hold ridings, in exchange for gaining votes in potential swing ridings, then their chances of winning federal elections will increase dramatically. But that would mean adopting more moderate policies - from which they are still a long way off.
  14. That's funny. But reality is, we will probably need to eat more beans (plant based protein)
  15. Much to the chagrin of the binge watchers.
  16. I mean, our next Premier is possibly going to be a first nations person with a shortened name.
  17. Problem is, people will fish the south basin for Pike, but they will be catching mostly Walleye. IMO, places with a heavy Walleye population, should be closed to all fishing until after spawning.
  18. Alas, it does, and you must.
  19. Communication is too partisan and not effective. Which is why so many don't completely understand policies like the carbon tax.
  20. My point is that they are all biased.
  21. That's the perception. But the reality is, most don't, because it's not a sustainable approach
  22. I have met both Old Order Mennonites and Amish - spent time on their farms too Neither one is so sheltered that they are exempt from making decisions. They are also very much aware of how they are impacted by outside forces In terms of sustainability - there are very few people who couldn't learn something from them
