  1. I read the article as: he came to that conclusion after reflecting on it.
  2. Absolutely. They can state that 'the judge is just another Liberal' and keep fueling the fire
  3. He made some brilliant saves there. Tempting Eberle with a little opening in his five hole while sliding across - then slamming it shut
  4. Take it or leave it.
  5. That people are more injury prone in their 30s? It's just a fact.
  6. That's reality. A higher priority would be the DT position and some backup linebackers and DL - we are going with some older talent in the front 7
  7. Enough to effectively read a defense.
  8. The breakfast wraps they make at Tim's - easy and fairly cost effective to make your own - esp. if you watch sales for the ingredients A wrap, eggs, bacon, hash browns, cheese & some sort of sauce if you like Great breakfast, portable lunch and works great for supper too
  9. That's what I think should happen. Just saying I don't think it's fair that the rookie of the year stays at mimimum salary.
  10. Sure. But I don't think the club will treat him that - they will restructure, as Booch suggests. I dislike the stuff that DT is tweeting, saying "the Bombers will gain 150-200K in additional value from Schoen's contract."
  11. I'm not sure why people keep implying that Schoen would stay on his rookie deal, if he returns to Winnipeg.
  12. Talking head material, for sure
  13. Yes, but I'd have the wine before the meal, not during.
  14. Breaded veal cutlets, fries, beef gravy and a beer at Cathay House. If you never had this, you're not a true Winnipeger. 😅
  15. Frying up some walleye for Friday visitors - they were swimming a week ago. You can go halfway around the world - you won't beat a Manitoba ice fished walleye.
  16. Chief Peguis. 1. The Red River settlement would have never happened without the aid of him and his people - every Selkirk Settler would have perished 2. His quote that begins with "These are not my lands - they belong to our great father." Is one of the most profound speeches in Canadian History 3. First Nations deserve this acknowledgement
  17. Lol. Seems to me you patronize some Selkirk establishments...
  18. ^^ riveting stuff. Some people who are / were highly thought of, were staunch eugenists.
  19. He's jabbed. I mean...there's only so much she can be expected to put up with. 😄
  20. Should be enough to keep your arteries greased.
  21. Yes. But again, there are issues other than funding. There are serious social issues in many classrooms. There needs to be long - term community building.
  22. I don't know too many of the details of the health care situation But I do know the issues in education will soon be exacerbated I just heard some of the numbers yesterday: 1/6 of Manitoba teachers are headed for retirement in the next 2 years - most of them will choose not to work as subs That's less than the number of graduates that will be coming out of Universities - we have a teacher shortage coming very soon Saskatchewan is already faced with a teacher shortage In both healthcare and education, it's going to take more than money to fix the system
  23. Most people don't care that much about the jab. The best players will play.
  24. And he should have bigger gains with the carries he does get. That receiving corps will force a D to spread out. A quick toss from ZC with the DL in pass rush...could be dynamite.
