  1. Subway napkins available - all the way down to Texas
  2. It's also fair to say, our 2 OTs have battled more injuries this year, which has hampered their effectiveness I realize OL always play hurt, but it has seemed like more than usual this year
  3. Cool! My last sub plan was just for an afternoon. I made a different topic of study related word search for each class. Kids loved it - sub had an easy afternoon.
  4. A recent trend in Europe - is to have parents come in as subs.
  5. There is a similar problem in the school system. Retired teachers used to be the biggest and most effective pool of substitute teachers Many of them are now choosing not to sub, covid being the primary reason
  6. https://twitter.com/RachelNotley/status/1581501198972002306?t=jsmBnmRpmJD5zptVBxnogA&s=19 Interesting that no masks were worn at the NDP MB convention.
  7. Hopefully only 1 or 2 of those guys.
  8. Dru Brown having success in a game that definitely meant something to BC...says a lot about O schemes and coaching
  9. With the issues surrounding OLs league wide, the Bombers will have some tough decisions to make
  10. Mostly a second string OL, inexperienced QB throws for 325 yards & we lose by 8 points. D could have been better stopping Butler, ST needs to tighten up. But there's a whole lot to like about this game.
  11. Kicking in the cordillera, huge challenge, the hugest
  12. The convoy will hear about this.
  13. Well...the game out in BC...where you hit a Douglas Fir...
  14. The ghosts of garbage time...have not appeared yet...
  15. You made a statement that is insulting to coaches / gym teachers in general If you meant to say that to Booch, then write it that way
  16. He had a decent game last week. 250, 2 TDs, no ints. So....bet on the Bombers this week.
  17. It's good to see that hospitalization is relatively low across the country I have no doubt there are numerous cases, but 5300 hospitalizations across the country - indicates that most people are vaccinated or have other acquired immunity
  18. That's disturbing on so many levels. I mean, try saying that to former warriors like Mike O'Shea or Buck Pierce
  19. The Rider sweeping the Stamps while Hamilton loses back to back to Ottawa... ,,,I agree, very unlikely
  20. And most of their fans are not that deluded. If they stand pat, attendance will drop. Just like it did in the past.
  21. Based on current records and the remainder of the schedule, here are my predictions West BC splits with Winnipeg, Calgary splits with Sask BC and Calgary finish tied in the standings, and it comes down to their season series, to determine who gets the home playoff game Which means BC would finish second, Calgary third Sask does not get the crossover, because I don't see Hamilton losing even one game to Ottawa, they are currently tied and SSK needs to finish AHEAD East Toronto beats Edmonton tonight, which will give them a 4 point lead over the Als TOR and MTL will split their remaining games, which will give TO first in the East. The Als are not consistent enough to win both games, but they will take first place if they do, as they would finish tied but win the season series Hamilton will win out against Ottawa, but still finish 3rd, as the Als should win one more game
  22. This week's headlines: MBT appears in the sonnets of his ancestor, the Great William Shakespeare (GWS) "what hath garbage time passing wrought?" Dane Evans takes up singing shanties with his distant cousin from Scotland "what shall we do with the drunken (insert your own lyrics)" Lapo has a new role with the Red Blacks - kicking field goals from the 2 yard line The Alouettes discover that Trevor Harris prefers legs over wings - thus the reason the Birds often flounder
