Yeah, MBT & the Argos proved it again yesterday - 340 yards through the air - but still a loss. Some teams just can't convert when the opposing D tightens up.
I liked Grant's explosiveness out of the backfield on Saturday. That was also one of the better blocking games by the receivers - so, not a coincidence.
I agree that Grant should be mostly returning kicks and punts.

^^ After all the fuss about what Winnipeg is doing (or not doing), limitations on livestock farming, concerns about Lake Winnipeg - something like this gets approved.
I just find it interesting how many of the Bombers' best players were not retained but other teams.
Collaros, Demski, Bryant, Hardrick, Jefferson, Bighill, Ellingson
That's a real sweet list of talent.
I won't say thank you - I'll say...y'all messed up!
Collaros - that is all
OL - no sacks surrendered, 100+ yards rushing
The receiving corps - brought their best tonight
HH the D. (BLM 219 passing - no TDs!!)
Check out the cfl.ca game recap of the Riders/Lions game. After the Lions get that safety, there is absolutely nothing positive they could find to show about the Riders
They usually show a few good plays that a team who lost badly made, but in this case there is NOTHING
The only thing worth mentioning is the hustle and tackle by Schaeffer-Baker, on the Purifoy interception
I'm not focussing on only 1990. The cuts happened over several years. They hired an American consultant a few years after 1990 (name escapes me), who recommended more cuts
