2022 CFL Season - Non Back 2 Back Champs News
Mark H. replied to Noeller's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
The thing about an Argo player being on the Riders' side of the 55 - wasn't that simply due to the stadium set up? -
How did we go from being one of the best teams - to being a place where players don't want to play?

Latest spin: "Craig Dickenson is an amazing individual. He deals with issues privately with the league, and does not resort to social media." Unquote.

Would you say they were similar to the current group? Able to crank it up a notch when it matters? -
Creative and interesting play designs / schemes

It's not that he can't, it's just that he's not better than the OTs currently starting. OL play has been a CFL issue in recent seasons - I doubt shifting Canadians to tackle would make it better. -

If he is not effective inside, then he's not going to be starting at tackle any time soon. Especially in pass pro, it is a more difficult position to play. -
1. ZC struggling running game and iffy pass pro - still puts up 300 yards - his best game so far, IMO 2. Ellingson. 3. The Jeffs were downright scary tonight HH - IGF.

Just watched the highlights - a number of PI calls on Montreal could not have been anymore blatant Grabbing, pushing and hitting receivers - well before the ball arrives

Their salaries were being paid regardless. You'd have to somehow make a case that 'they neglected duties in other jurisdictions.' If you exclude salaries, it's not really worth pursuing.

Struck the berg before it was even afloat.

My understanding is it only goes back to consumers if the province they live in doesn't have a carbon pricing plan in place Yes, there are tree planting grants available that you can apply for. I just think there should be publicly funded tree nurseries, similar to the way the PFRA program worked
-
Call me cynical if you like, but why is the money being rebated and/or sent back to the provinces? Maybe someone who lives in a province that is meeting the federal requirements, could provide some information about their initiatives? Taxes should be used to provide services - in this case, the service of combatting climate change In this case, tree planting programs would be a good start. It currently costs around $50 to purchase a quality sapling from a nursery Not many people are going to plant a significant number of trees with their own money

Take in a couple billion in carbon tax revenue, earn some interest on it, then return it to the tax payer.

Had to prune this thread a bit. Let's keep it classy and not drag ourselves down to their level. -
Rider fans are pigs, and their organization is trash

LOCKED. There is already ample discussion on this topic. Let's keep it respectful here, even when CFL people don't. -
We wouldn't be the first large mammal to run out of resources.

Booch hyperbole...you can't unread it.

Yep, he used to drop in deep balls with the best of them.

1 million people projected at the stampede - sounds like it's over for more than just the government.

Sometimes you take a shot at an unlikely winner. If it works, you leapfrog the standings

His knees are just barely off the turf, and the ball is clearly below his knees. It could be that it never touched the ground, but the odds are more likely that it did. And I guess the second question is: did Banks wrestle ball out after Houston was down?
-
Ok, fair enough. The ball might touch the ground there (yes, I meant 1:05) but it's not conclusive. But keep watching at that point, you can see Banks grab it from between his knees, and it sure appears to touch the ground.
