From there, it gets shipped further (usually south) by train. The vast majority of Canada's exported grain is still moved by train.

The wheat board was a non-issue. We didn't need a board to market any of our other crops. No one in Canada grows exclusively wheat on their farm. To be honest, most farmers quit farming because their kids no longer want to farm. And with land prices insanely high, it's a great time to get out. 100% correct. There are no more small farmers raising hogs, but still plenty that raise cattle or poultry.
