  1. Yes. I found the same deal on a scotch last week. Waiting for one of my favourites to get marked down - would purchase several.
  2. Talk to your family doctor. I also have the first 3 shots. I took a flu shot this fall, but not another covid jab.

  4. Nothing wrong with some selections...on the lower shelves...
  5. Well yes. But the opposing teams are also looking forward to the all-star break.
  6. Yes and no. Jim Beam too - to help us all come clean.
  7. Camping? Get yourself a fire pit and a grill.
  8. I like nuts as a snack, but not at the sexual level.
  9. Yes. I don't buy it often and mostly not in MB, but sometimes a half decent deal comes along.
  10. Moved most of the food posts over to the grilling thread...just we so we can leave Mosaic languishing in obscurity.
  11. Just sign one decent linebacker!
  12. If you're into high end single malt scotch - some are $20 - $30 off.
  13. The only question for her and PP - how big is that base? Hopefully small. Their speeches remind me of the sheep in Animal Farm: "4 legs good, 2 legs bad."
  14. In other news, LC has some sweet sales these days. None of their usual loonie and twonie garbage - $10 off on 40 oz. bottles of some whiskey, and 1.5 L of wine, $5 off.
  15. Saskatchewan right beside us has had supply teachers for years - MB needs to get on board.
  16. This has been the norm in rural divisions for years - it's just getting media coverage now, because it's creeping closer to metro. Divisions like Borderland, Southwest Horizon, Parkwest - were already doing it. It's mainly due to retired teachers no longer wanting to sub. (But your rant is still legit)
  17. And they can scrap the grade 10 idea too.
  18. Uh huh. Because they are the only government that does this. GST rebates have been around for decades.
  19. Some can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the thinking behind tax rebates is that the government earns interest on the money before they give it back to us With billions of dollars being rebated at the provincial and federal levels all across the country - that's a pretty good chunk of interest money flowing into the coffers And no, I'm not arguing that it's good policy.
  20. Work on the next budget - or run for the safest Conservative seat in Canada? I guess he chose the low hanging fruit
  21. I disagree. We'll see how they do this year.
  22. That would makes things interesting. Quite a bit of Ottawa's talent is above average.
  23. Bomber hardwood will gladly keep that fire burning.
