Some can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the thinking behind tax rebates is that the government earns interest on the money before they give it back to us With billions of dollars being rebated at the provincial and federal levels all across the country - that's a pretty good chunk of interest money flowing into the coffers And no, I'm not arguing that it's good policy.

I assume this a rarity, but I have a moral problem with some of what goes on. A couple months ago, we were informed that a local soup kitchen wouldn't be needing our weekly contribution - because some scenes were being shot in the building.

Yeah, the Riverboat used to be not all that great. I have heard good things more recently.

That has to be a one off, Roxy's is usually great. Next time that happens, ask for a seat in the lounge. By the way, a burger platter with a drink is $15 - $20, the same or a little more than many fast food options - way more food and better quality

I accept your 'few years back' game and raise a glass to Sept. 30 of 2022. -
You can all do that you want. I've got BBQ chicken going on a traditional gas grill, at 5 PM tomorrow The Scotch is resting on the shelf... And, I'm going to start a long overdue grilling thread...in general discussion.

If I am correct, they get 50% of what a public school receives, provided they teach the provincial curriculum If they don't teach the curriculum or use a home school program - funding = 0
