It's easier to do candle light vigils once a year.

They like music. Some people fly to attend sporting events, some for music, some to visit family or to spend time outdoors I guess I just classify all recreational travel the same - it has become part of the fabric of western society Those that can afford it are not going to let it go easily Everyone is counting on some pie in the sky government policy to combat climate change - but we're for the most part not even making minor changes as individuals

Yes, and there were also reports like that about Mariupol.

^^ It's getting harder and harder to know what and who to believe.

It applies to any law enforcement official. Police officers need to abide by it the moment they charge someone.

Yes, I missed Taylor. But Rose has played 1 season in Ottawa, 1 season in BC and 2 in Winnipeg In order for him to qualify, they would have to count 2020 as a season I don't know if they are doing that -

You can? He needs to play 2 more seasons...before he's even eligible The only DB who'd be an option is Brandon Alexander The rest have not played enough seasons with the Bombers, and/or less than 5 in the league overall Grant needs at least one more season, to be eligible He has played parts of 2 seasons -

The Canadian players have an impact on the overall product. But I'm curious - what do they complain about? This. I guess you could keep an American Guard around for 3 years, and then start using him to as a sub for your Canadians. -

It seems to me...none of the guys you've listed are situational players. They coaches will want them playing more than 49% of the snaps - or whatever the number is. -

This accomplishes absolutely nothing. If a team has a talented American with 3 years experience, they want him starting - not subbing in for a Canadian I guess it could work in the trenches. But how many American guards or centres have been in the league for 3-5 years? Probably close to 0. Take the Bombers as an example: do they have an American DT eligible to rotate with Jake Thomas? No. -

Adam Bighill could be the Bombers' 8th Canadian. I absolutely fail to see why this is a hill to die on. -

Asking for more during negotiations, sure. But not getting an agreement in committee ratified and having to go back to the table...is a huge deal -
Kevin Stevens with Mario as well...although he also had other issues
-
With mostly the same line up they had this year...

Well, I would think any tackle probably could, but it would depend on what the coaching staff's expectations are for that position In Winnipeg, the bar is set pretty high. On other teams, it was pretty much a gong show last season
-
Possibly. But I wouldn't be surprised if they continue with 2 Americans at the tackle positions. Especially if they continue to start Canadians at running back.

How so? It was #42 who got beat to the loose puck behind the net

They could have been corporate or company credit cards. I am sure companies who support candidates purchase memberships and get employees and other people to vote for them.

Restrictions are alive and well at the Canada / U.S. border - depending on who's on duty that day.

He also knows when to leave - he has a history of that.

If that is the case, then it doesn't say much about a significant number of the Jets' players If they become a contender under Trotz, then it will be clear that many of them have underperformed in 2021 - 2022
-
You'd have to get very rigorous then, because partisanship and favoritism are entrenched in this country. I have heard an MP say to a fairly large group of people from across Canada "that he needed to 'repay people' who had helped him get elected."

I read the article as "the Crown is arguing that she should be returned to jail." I don't see how "the possibility of speaking at a gala" can be a valid reason for sending someone back to jail.

We've heard this drama before. No one can afford to hold up the season...and they won't.
