Not even just the production either. That darvin adams play in his regular season game completely changed expectations and attitude. We went from a great team with qb health issues to team that believed they could win any kind of game, and really did. 
 That is one of the most pivotal plays in team history. We went from a semi final team to a back to back winner on that play. 
they aren’t getting 3s any more. They aren’t getting 275 any more either. They will be a bit a head of dl, but not much.

Sad about Adeboboye. He and his family are big favorites here. Local boy who plays a big role on Teams and subs in at Runningback to great effect. Goes to every GTA area football fundraiser/school/tournament. Delightful people.
But Holley is in the NFL, Brinkman and Ceresna are FAs so we needed more D-Linemen on the roster. I hope Andre Carter comes up here and does a job for us. And with the makeup of our RB rotation being American, it just doesn't seem like a place we can have a National.

pretty sure we will be bringin back all receivers with the Mitchell addition save for Whitehead....they want ZC to be comfortable with who he chucking too, and we have seen with new guys....he takes a long time to get comfortable and have chemistry with them....let alone trust them to throw to

Just to put a different spin on the discussion, imagine if going into this game that the teams had each others' QB2 & QB3.
So you'd have had Collaros backed up by Arbuckle and Dukes. The Argos would've had Wilson backed up by Dolegala and Scott.
That would've been a masacre.

The thing is, history very strongly indicates that ZC would have been seen as the only option. Quite frankly, I have no reason to believe otherwise.

And yet our D was ******* good all season long... there's more than one way to build a good defense. Quite frankly the problems or this team is that for allllllll the money they spend on O it was **** for most of the season. Point fingers there not the D because the D was the only reason last years team did anything.

Cuz Zach prob saved O’Sheas job a few years ago. Loyalty is a thing in sports. It costs lots of teams. It’s cost us a few times probably also.

If you saw the Detroit Lions defense totally take apart the Minnesota Vikings high powered offense last week you'd recognize it was the same style D that we used in 2021 & 22. We didn't need to blitz. Our Front 7 dominated. We had a great front 4 & linebacking crew. We had Jefferson & Jeffcoat on the ends as well as Steve Richardson at DT & we intimidated other teams.
Our secondary was the best in the CFL at  the time because of the players playing in front of them. Now, we have no pass rush, average linebackers when Bighill doesn't play & below average when he does. We are just a shell of what we were. As a team, we spend all our money on offensive players to the point where we let our defense & return game just shrivel up. We have to rebuild our D. Get back to a more physical style of play.

Exactly, and yet all that money, all that training, and we get our ass kicked by Latvia and Czechia.
