It’ll be the old “don’t know how we’ll manage without you, but come Monday morning, we’re sure gonna try.”

I agree with what you are saying. My major grievance is that despite our record with is great I have great concerns as it relates to our ability to not only win the Cup but just to get there. I do not believe that we will be able to get their unless we can prove we can thrown downfield and stretch the defense. Failing to do that IMHO will doom us when it counts. I also do not believe we will achieve what we all are wanting ( A Grey Cup Victory) with our current QB. This is solely my opinion and I do not expect everyone to agree with it. And as one of my old bosses use to say "Exception Noted".

People are the starter for a reason, there isn't a backup rb in the league that could replace half of what Harris does, in fact most of the starters in the league couldn't replace him either. You are crazy if you think the loss of Harris wouldn't be huge and devastating to your team.  He is size and speed, if you don't get ready and respect his power he will run you over. If you get too low and try to take his legs out he will dance around you. If he hits open field he is gone and you can't catch him. Also most rb's don't have good hands, who is going to catch all the passes he gets or replace his blocking skills. For a starting running back right now in the cfl, at all facets of the game, there is no one better.

It’s true that they are letting more blatant holds go than they used to.

If you eliminate the grabbing, pulling and the two handed push from behind, that was a perfectly executed block.  I can see how the refs might miss those little subtleties.

That was a hell of a game, but the no call on the big return that led to Hamiltons game winning touchdown was disgusting.

An actual running game helps too - our boys need to shut White down next week.

The Lions OL was firing out & getting to their blocks aggressively. John White looked like he was blocking pretty well when Reilly was throwing which helped. The play at RT was much improved with the new guy in there & moving Foucault to LG. Pass pro was much better as well but once Reilly got hurt he couldn't step up in the pocket so he was sacked.

Obvious catch, he makes catch than turns to endzone, doesn't bobble until he hits the ground.

And really just one change - the RT moved inside to guard and they’re starting a new tackle.

BC defence has played well, they have a new MLB but I don't know who he is as Black has not once mentioned his name.

Truly amazing what even average offensive line play does for an offence versus horrendous line play.

It’s strictly situational.   There are other situations where they took out Mathews and put Miller in.   Other times they took out Couture and put Remple in.  It doesn’t mean Remple should start at centre, it just means he has special skills as a long snapper.
In the last minute of the game, with the lead, you want to run the ball to keep the clock running.  Strevs is a better runner than Matt, so the coaches made the right decision that proved successful.  I think it is folly to extrapolate situational decision to mean anything else.

In that case, Nichols would not be our starting QB.

They were outstanding. The entire stadium knows it’s going to Harris, and there’s a gaping hole for an 8 yard gain.
