Mark H. got a reaction from Noeller in Call it what you want … you need to move on from Collaros
I recall a younger Damon Allen also taking off after his first or second read.
The 'savvy vet' version of Allen played more along the lines of what you describe

I think that's a good comparison. Teams put the right pieces around Damon Allen, and won championships with him - even at 42 or whatever it was.
No one asks how you won a championship (unless you're the 2007 Riders).

The Argos generally have a pretty decent OL. It'll be interesting to see how MBT fares elsewhere.

It's taken me years to craft my talent.

Agreed. Shots that are mostly low percentage chances...help the goalie stay sharp.

It's a fairly recent change, when the newest CBA bumped the minimum to 70k they made the minimum apply to all players regardless of Nationality
"The CFL minimum salary will increase to $70,000 in 2023 and $75,000 in 2027. That minimum will apply to players regardless of roster designation — National, American and Global. Global players were previously limited to contracts of $54,000, lower than the league minimum."

Not goalied... Hate how often that gets tossed around. They couldn't finish and hit too many posts. Against a team as bad as Chicago, you need more offense... Top line didn't do enough offensively.

Well, I like that fact that Canadian RBs have allowed the Bombers to start Americans at Offensive Tackle and even at Guard - that has been a real strength of the team.

If it comes down to choosing between Brady and Schoen, I think management chooses Brady because he's going to cost less cap, provides them a ratio option, and has the hometown connection, which sells merchandise and tickets.
