Mark H. got a reaction from Piggy 1 in Which Vets do we cut next season
And if the Bombers had ended up winning, he would have still played a decent game. The guy passed for almost 300 yards.

The guy is a pro qb. Fajardo beat us. Get used to it. He also gets paid to win. Some of us here sound like whiners.

Wasn't just that game, he played decently in a few games down the stretch, threw some nice passes too. Given a good game plan and some decent weapons, Fajardo can be reasonably effective.

Sure, as he had an arm where he legit could throw 70-75 yards downfield. A lot of those overthrows were receivers not believing he could get the ball to them so they quit on a route. Those guys usually didn't last too long. He had a Canadian wide receiver that was awful named Brock Aynsley. He couldn't catch a cold. On the other side MIke Holmes who was a very good wideout but subject to the dropsies at times. Tommy Scott & Joe Pop caught everything although they never played together.
Once he stopped throwing on the run doing rollouts & started throwing from the pocket where he could set his feet & throw his accuracy improved not just for the long ball but for everything. Jauch taught him to read defenses. So did jauch's OC Jim Erkenbeck. He helped Brock develop as well. He doesn't get the credit he deserves. They must have spent hours & hours watching film together.

As has been mentioned by @Booch, Joe Pascucci would be the best to touch base with for any video clips, as he acts as an unofficial club historian with lots of archival stuff from his days at CKND (had the foresight to save the stuff). The Free Press has their online archive, or you could attend the Winnipeg Centennial library to view their entire microfilm catalogue (which would allow you to print any pages from any issue of the paper, provided you know which dates you are looking for). They may have some newspaper photos. As for the club, not sure if the Alumni Association could help, but try their website at www.bomberalumni.com and reach out to them if you have any specific requests. I also saw that the club posted an obituary for your dad on the www.bluebombers.com website back in 2011 (you can still find a link to it by searching your dad’s name on Google), so they might be of assistance too. Finally, as you have seen, @SpeedFlex27 is our resident go-to guy for the past living history of the club, especially the 1970’s era, so he would have a trove of memories for you. Best of luck with your search.

He tells some great stories. Forster passed away. These are old stories.

whatever I'm only listening to CFRY right now because they have the rights to Gipp Forster's It Feels Like Christmas (I will admit I wish it was still on CJOB because that jingle is just not the same without "On CJOB" add-on)

Imagine coaching or playing with teammate who could run the ball, play receiver, play defensive back at a high level. return punts & kicks & be an undersized long snapper? Then be even more athletic as your best American player. That was Peter Ribbins. I'd call him a generational player.
