I don't see how what Woody said was a conspiracy theory. Pharmaceutical companies did work with governments and the media to establish lockdowns and vaccination treatments against a gain of function virus that they themselves secretly created. This isn't a conspiracy theory... it's a conspiracy series of facts. We all just lived through this. Then the media spams me on Sunday with 1000 of the same article decrying Harelson's Anti-Vaxx conspiracy... as if to prove his damn point.

No I didn't. Was happy to be shut up by McLeod down the stretch. Maybe Kelly will make me eat my words on this one... I'd be very happy to. But I am struggling with how we put this team together that looks so ready to roll and now our presumed QB1 has less than 100 snaps in the CFL. That's beyond a head scratcher. I was just getting to the point where I felt great confidence in our GM-By-Committee and the team they'd assembled... Now IDK what is coming. And sure, Dinwiddie knows the QB position in our league very well... and by now he knows Chad Kelly very well... But you can absolutely say the same about how well he knew Nick Arbuckle when (some say) he made us acquire him.

Never would've said that you didn't... But I didn't see a Neg lister on there. So Evans goes to the Leos... Chad Kelly is our de facto starter. I don't know how to feel about this. First gut reaction is that this is no way to go about a title defence.

He also may have kicked it straight had he not seen Robbie Smith flying in. We'll never know.

Hamilton is cutting him anyway. As it sits, they've nearly $1M in committed salary to 2 QBs...

We're also making the presumption that he wants to be an Argo. If he doesn't, it's moot. If he does, maybe he just holds out until he gets what he wants. His agent bent Hamilton over once before...

That seems a lot to give up for 2 extra off season months of a guy that they can't keep anyway... But I wouldn't be mad about it.

Never thought I'd be hoping for Dane Evans & Chad Kelly Platoon.... but here we are.

It's been apparent since the Cats got BLM that Evans and his contract were not in their plans. Hamilton can't keep him. And now we have confirmation (likely days after The Argo's GM-By-Committee had it) that MBT isn't back and we have a Starting Quarterback sized space in our salary structure. Seems like it will happen. I've had fellow Argo supporters decrying to me over the last several weeks how "classless" Hamilton is for not releasing him when they know darn well that he isn't going to be a Ti-Cat this year. I disagree. Even though it'd be a nice gesture for their former player to be given this time to figure out his future (and many teams do this for the player as a matter of course), it is Stein's job to figure out a way of DeThroning the Argos. He is under no obligation to release a player that can help us a day before he has to. But who knows? Perhaps they bow to what now seems to be inevitable and agree to release Evans for a late rounder... better to get something rather than nothing and end up with the same ultimate result.

Not a chance that they'd risk him getting a 2023 playbook to give us. This happens before TC but after any meaningful onboarding that would usually have occurred.

They can't/won't keep Evans. Likely they've suspected that MBT wasn't returning and didn't want to release Evans so he could immediately drive up the QEW to us. They'll hold him as long as they can.

With McLeod, we were the presumptive favorites to win the East. Now, we may have the best overall roster, but without a proven QB1 we're in a fight.

I didn't infer it. I implied it. But more correctly, I only stated that on the day of November 20, 2022, that Ryan Dinwiddie outcoached and out adjusted Michael MF'ing O'Shea. Because it is true. It happened and we all watched it. But like I also said, I'd far rather have Osh than Dinwiddie. And I was very critical of RD and frankly didn't think that he had it in him. Respectfully, I never did that. And I take a lot of **** here and generally don't rise to it. Hell... I had months of opportunities to stick it right back at a few Richards who have taken every chance they've had to vent their Toronto hatred on me... never did it once. You ought to see my block list. But the "Fluke" narrative had to die. And I've spoken my piece on that now, so I'll drop it.
