  1. Watch video of his throwing motion. See how he pulls it back to a "cocked" state from underneath? Now picture a scrambler in traffic doing it. Imagine his pursuers batting at the ball below shoulder height. I don't feel like this is a hard one to get.
  2. And to @Zontar, tough beat man... I'm sure you appreciate why my rooting-sentiments were all against Hamilton (my love for coach Stein notwithstanding). Losing in the big game is crushing (my 9 year old self remembers the bitter tears I shed) and you're a good dude to come congratulate the fans of the winner. There will be interesting times ahead in the off-season for the Tabbies and when we get into off-season mode I will look forward to seeing your thoughts on what should/must happen in Tiger-Town. Cheers.
  3. It's the way he carries the ball and has that extra hinch in his throwing motion that sets me off.
  4. Some folks here have known me nigh upon 15 years. During this time we've had our wars and a fair number of laughs. But I am genuinely happy for you today. There are many posters here who never got to experience a championship and I hope you enjoy the hell out of it. Obviously I'm thrilled that Hamilton didn't win... the few thousand of them who come to BMO to watch their games are pretty insufferable as it is... but if they could actually win? It would almost be too much to bear. THANK YOU OSH for sparing us that fate. There are things that you (Bomber fans) and I (a Prophet of Double Blue) will disagree on sooner than later (and you can likely imagine what specific thing I refer to)... but we will save that for another day while you bask in your Glory and I bask in my Relief.
  5. I will say the same thing about ZC as I said when he was our backup because my opinion hasn't altered: The guy is a winner and has a set of brass ones. He is fun to watch and a deadly improviser, but his courage and play style will get him hurt and his throwing motion will lead to fumbles. But I'd have this guy leading the team any Sunday.
  6. Please... don't **** this up Bombers...
  7. We made Durie into a SB when he was a TB. Did the same to Coombs and I just never liked the fit. Maybe it's me.
  8. Not totally his fault, imo. We tried to make him into Andre Durie 2.0. Square Peg, Round hole.
  9. I have the same top 3 as you, but in my top 3 they all exist on different tiers. The fourth tier of QBs on my all time list has a small handful of guys.
  10. One of those scenarios where it's nigh impossible to compare athletes from different eras in an apples to apples way. My heart loves them both but my head says that RR could be time portal'd back to '83 and started at QB and we win that GC with or without Holloway (or Joe Barnes!)... I can't bring myself to say the same about time portalling Holloway to GC 100 or 105.
  11. My inner 10 year old who watched Conredge lead a GC winning team will always have a special place for him in my memories... But being real: Doug Flutie is not only the best CFL QB I've ever seen, he was also the best player, period.
  12. We were blessed to have him. 2 Cups. I still marvel at how Barker stole him from Edmonton. Second best QB we've ever had.
  13. I haven't much hope that my team will be there, but I'm trying to move my schedule around to, myself. Who knows, if I'm able to attend I may even get to have a beer with a CCMA award finalist.
  14. "Good luck with the battle you guys... I'm going to play flight simulator with some crows..."
  15. I admit that I don't watch all that many Jets games... But they do show up and skate sometimes, yeah?
  16. I'm not going to complain... since this appears to benefit the Boatmen. I would guess this would add us in at #19? (so we'd be 1st, 9th, 18th & 19th...?) And if our "territory" is anything like the GTA then that gives us plenty of kids to look at... But I just see this becoming unbalanced. Not all territories have the population to produce talent equally nor are they equally desirable to live in.
  17. I know that whenever I say ignorant and hateful things about sensitive topics involving the mass murder of thousands that it is hate speech when I am accurately quoted within context of what I said. Worse still if someone tweets video of me saying these comments to a crowd.
  18. https://shop.donaldjtrump.com/products/i-spy-trump-tee
  19. I guess we'll see. The AG seems to want to look at it and the FISA docs may get declassified.
  20. So you don't think that the Trump campaign was surveiled? I didn't think that was still in dispute... (only whether or not it was proper/legal/justified)
  21. @TrueBlue4ever this was epic. Exactly what I was hoping to see examples of in this thread! ✨🏆✨
  22. Duuuuuude... do you even know how desperately "Regular Joe" Leafs fans would love to be at a game...? Hate the suits all you want, but the rank and file, working class Leafs fans would give their left nut for a chance at a game...
  23. Odd that this is going down just as the Spygate "conspiracy theory" is beginning to boil... (fun fact, Wikipedia admins are still reverting every edit to the Spygate "conspiracy theory" page that updates it)
  24. Dude... We've been fighting for this for decades. It won't fix everything overnight... But it's a relief that my local governments are finally willing to treat me like an adult who can decide to have a cold beer in a parking lot by the lake before a football game and not have anyone get hurt by it. Like it should have ever been any of their concern...
