Tangentially related: things must look good for the Argos if Damien Cox is Opining in his column that this may be the last ever game for the Argos... Toronto's legacy media's love affair with the CFL continues!

All 4 did, tbqh.

Me either, but on their day, Montreal has a RB and a QB who can wake up and raise their games and hurt you. Ticats have less of that fear factor, more holes and have been shaky of late. There's still 60 minutes of football to play and "Anything can happen in the CFL", but not many would argue that these aren't favorable matchups for our respective teams. I don't think either 1st seed will have any excuses if they can't do the business.

I'd say that the big winners of Semi-Final Sunday were Winnipeg and Toronto. Both teams probably get their preferred opponents. And all 4 of the Semifinalists looked bad on the day.

Jeffcoat was the best player on the field and it wasn't close.

IDK. My take was that one half of our O-Line pass blocked ok but were deficient at run block and the others were the opposite. Messy but still Week 1. Not having Poole available sucks and Blake picked up a knock so it doesn't look so hot. But then the Bomber D-Line isn't without some guys on the trainer's table... So maybe between another week of playing together and coming up against you guys at the right time we may squeak it out again... I mean... we did win last time we met 🙃

I laughed because that rhymes with Dutch Oven and sometimes I'm 12.

Double Blue is life Argonauts Pull Together That's our Cup you've got

Not the team that I'd have wanted us to play after an unexpected week 1 win. Too many questions about what this Argo team is for me to have confidence in this one. Can't see past our lines getting beaten enough to change the game too far into the Bomber's favor. Still a football game after a long lapse in football games so who knows... but I picked the Bombers on my betting sheet.

Wait... they were shooters? Missed that bit. Thanks for allowing the thought experiment to play out. Wasn't here to debate or convince an anti-gunner. I know that never gets past the feelings stage. Peace and love, bro.

The ones in red or blue bandanas? Defintitely! The gun murder rate would plummet to an irrelevancy!
-
I agree. Someone ought to revoke those Chicago gun-permits.

Those darn Urban Chicago white supremacists!

Personally I believe that Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa was a perfectly normal American guy until Drumpf's racism radicalized him.

1) MLS&E has yet to show even a quantum of the commitment to being successful on a CFL field that they have in any of their other properties. I seriously doubt that if I strolled thru their offices that I'd see any indication of their even owning the world's oldest pro football franchise. 2)I hope you're right. But most new Head Coaches have a successful pedigree at the coordinator level first. Desperately hoping this won't be a harsh lesson about The Peter Principle.

Dang, I wish I still had that T-Shirt...

3 Downs Larger Field Extra man These are my non-negotiables and I'll treat 'em like The Alamo if necessary.

We're 2 years removed from a trainwreck of a 4-14 season with almost no holdovers from it. I think it's fair to say that nobody has a clue what the Argos actually are.
-
Good guy. I'll always remember the Cup run in '91 and what a (literally) big part of the team he was. Charitable too, his work for Purolator Tackle Hunger has helped tens of thousands in need. RIP Schultzie.

Not a chance.

Yeah... But the other side of that. Hard to imagine a more poorly coached season than what we had to suffer last season. IDK if Dinwiddie is a top tier or even mid tier head coach... But mere competence will look a quantum leap forward by comparison.

No mention of the one change the Argos made which will make a bigger positive impact than all of the others combined?
-
Inevitable really.
