it's what we do these last few years when a player wants to try his luck down south. i have mixed feelings on this... but Barker has been consistent on this and it seems that players know it and respect it. can't blame Khalif for wanting to give it one last try for the big money (he's 29). hope he gets a bigass contract down there... but if not, i hope he remembers that we did right by him.

The plans call for temporary seating of 40k and the talk has always been that this would be for Winter Classics and Grey Cups... but that may be a shot across Rogers' bow to force a favourable lease rate from them for GCs since they now aren't the only place in the GTA capable of hosting it... who knows. but i'd bet it would be at BMO... and soon. a GC in TO is likely part of the deal. maybe a couple.

Still not clear to me if that is where the Argos are going. Is MLSE or Larry Tanenbaum actually going to buy the team, Bluto? it is where we're going. has been since October. the new owner is exactly who/what you think it is.

I dare say Bluto does not share your opinion of his performance in Toronto. was surprised he made another teams roster, let alone an active player. he was only ever a depth guy on our "injury list". when we finally had enough actual injuries an were forced to call him into service, he immediately showed that we'd be better off giving someone else his spot. I think I remember you giving him a better review than that we he first came here. Not glowing by any means, but IIRC you considered him at least serviceable. I'd search for the post but 1) I think all traces of you have been removed from OB, & 2) I don't care enough. no you don't. in fact, i remember it like i commented about his addition as being indicative of the sad state of your O-Line but that maybe he would play like he had something to prove and get better... i can't search the old site to find it (and really, besides looking up my old posts, what possible reason to go to that shithole could there be?)

Quite impressive and as you say, good motivation for any young players who may be more suitable for coaching. that comment was actually for a particular member here who's son is a QB in a canadian university. (figured most people got that)

Local boy who was a high school star. A 2 year starting QB from the U of Guelph (so he and Walters likely get on well). He's been Barker's star pupil for the last few years. As a Canadian QB who has made a career out of football, he'd be a good role model for anyone on this forum's son who may also like to transition into a CFL career if he doesn't get a serious look at QB because of his birth certificate.

one of the best "low profile" player additions of this era of the CFL.

I can't remember if you wanted Kito or not, but I'm going to guess you supported that move too cuz you loved everything the great and powerful Mack did. lol'd so hard it hurts. as to Wpg trading for Glenn, i wouldn't do it for more than a 3rd rounder (they can make it a 2nd if Glenn starts a certain number of games)... but i'd still rather try to develop Willy. i just wouldn't ever ant Glenn as my QB.
