Seems probable that Dukes has a future in our league, I wouldn't put it past Scott either. He looks to be a player.

Having done my rewatch of the game, and being able to see things on TV that I didn't quite pick up live. I have a slightly more nuanced view of the Alouettes now. Player for player, athlete for athlete, physicality versus physicality they aren't better than us. We might even be better than them. We had some holes in our game last night and we made some mistakes which they jumped all over. Good teams always do this. And right now the Montreal Alouettes are executing damn near flawless football. They are a machine. Credit to the coaches, the captains and the players as a group of professionals. They went out there with a game plan and carried it out. And it was put into effect ruthlessly. They are obviously the team to beat this year. And to the Cody haters, It's only going to get worse for you.

If there are still people in denial over Fajardo and his Als, they need to step back and have another look.

Beaten on offence, defence, teams, X's and O's, discipline... They kicked our butt. I'd be concerned if this wasn't June and our team was in full health and playing to its best level. But this isn't anywhere near our best. We may hand these guys a whooping yet.

Ka'Deem is questionable. Brissett is out. Daniels, Ungerer, Mital and Flo Orimalade are on the 6 game... I'm not seeing it this week. AFAIK, his big lump sum was already paid, so hypothetically, dropping him would be after this season... and the Argos end up with a net savings. But Dukes needs to keep this up for awhile yet before that'd become a reality (or even a possibility). I'm not fussed over it because: i) Like I had said, it's a great problem to potentially have, and ii) I'm more concerned about Montreal and whether or not there's any way that we can stop Fajardo from ritualistically sacrificing our rookie cornerbacks this Friday.
