  1. Coach Scott estimates 4-6 weeks for Kackert, but that could be adjusted on either side. He added that Kackert was "much worse" that Ray.
  2. i'll give you blitzing... and hit hits a ton when he's in the clear... but i think he has a tendency to be light at the POA and part of the reason RBs had been victimizing us is a tendency to arm-tackle. his stand-in last game (after Jones moved him outside into coverage) shed a block off of a tackle 100 pounds more than him and drilled Buck in the guts... i think that Jones saw that play and made up his mind. i would be surprised not at all if Orlondo hasn't already contacted BI.
  3. they extort money from companies to become members or else they can make them look bad. some people think that they're some sort of do-gooder gov't body that they can sick on a company that doesn't live up to their expectations (fair or not).
  4. i think the reason rhymes with "Mass Shove Her Age" i don't know though. coach Scott has been very explicit in the past when cutting someone about providing an explanation... we'll see. so... i guess Shane Horton gets the spot...
  5. think Ray was hurt that bad? i thought Kackert's looked worse. neither were taken to the locker room which i took as a promising sign. Ray seemed to be saying that he felt no pain to the trainer who was checking him out... ...even if he's OK though, i'd sit him against BC and play Collaros. that way he gets nearly 3 weeks off (with our bye next week).
  6. just refuting your weak claims as usual. carry on polishing Mack's accomplishments.
  7. we were 9-9 without a QB in 2010... mind you IIRC, Cleo Lemon had numbers superior to anything Buck ever had. so maybe that shouldn't count...
  8. true... beating the Bombers and TiCats does feel a bit like winning by default. until we beat a good team, the jury is out.
  9. you do realize that the BBB is pretty much a scam and has no ower or ability to do a darn thing, right?
  10. yeah... maybe we ought to take it to the general forum tho.
  11. interesting... that's also my dating strategy.
  12. i don't buy it. not the part about Burke liking Buck, but that he could somehow force Mack to keep the most key position on the team in the hands of a guy he didn't want anymore. it defies logic. further: i believe that Mack's ego still wanted Buck to come good this year so he would get the last laugh as the guy who recruited, signed and stuck by him.
  13. expecting a liberal, cultural Marxist, social-justice warrior to have the courage of his convictions? don't hold your breath, bro.
  14. that, imo is a huge indictment of how this team has been built by Mack: to win, the offence and ST has to score a few touchdowns while having almost zero room for making mistakes and meanwhile the defence has to play at a very high level and limit opponent scoring while forcing them to turn the ball over. if those conditions aren't met, the Bombers have no plan B.
  15. what are the odds that my taxes aren't somehow supporting this jackoff in at least some form?
  16. much better than what you've got now. the collar sucks though.
  17. still a bad rationalization, imo. he's small, so he gets to attack knees.
  18. i don't know about announcing him as a starter (have to earn that right, imo), but i thought the same thing about giving him some reps. that's what garbage time is supposed to be for.
  19. Khari sucks as an OC, imo. that's all Cortez.
  20. i disagree with the thread title... i would submit that #2's play has been quite consistent... (and to the earlier assertion that Suber's hit wasn't dirty because he always hits guys low... that's some pretty specious rationalizing right there)
  21. this had to be a TSN thing. they had the Open on this morning then NeckCar afterwards.
  22. pretty dull game so far... couple of field goals and like 6 minutes left in the half
