  1. Never satisfied with anything? An example of making stuff up that I didn't say just to complain about it. Probably upset back in the 90's? A second thing you made up just to complain about. FTR: I wasn't satisfied with going 17 minutes into the game without a single first down. I wasn't satisfied with the defense giving up 14 and the offense not scoring any points in the last 12 minutes of the 4th quarter. Anyone who was satisfied with those things must have an IV for their blue kool aid. That's because I expect starting CFL QB's to complete passes to wide open receivers.

  3. Kelly never made the playoffs.
  4. Take out Berry (Above .500 and we made the playoffs with him). Add Joe Zaleski.
  5. Jeremiah Johnson
  6. I didn't make it sound like anything of the sort. Not sure why you continue to read stuff that I don't type then complain about it. I chose us to win in the Pick Em's, so no... it doesn't bother me that we won. Not even a little bit. Just another case of you reading something that isn't there then complaining about it.
  7. If your reading comprehension was up to snuff, you'd know what I was really saying was.. Last night's level of play was just good enough to beat the Riders.
  8. Neither team outplayed the other in OT. We just made our FG and they didn't. Nichols averaged about 9 yards a pass except for the one 87 yarder. That's more indicative of the way he played. BTW: 87 yards is the longest in Dressler's career and the longest reception of the young season. And yet so many folks get upset at my opinions. BTW: That quote was from a post about the refs and the C'Mon Center being the only opinion's that matter to play calls, not the fans. Anyone here really think that last night's great 20 minutes of play would be good enough to beat most CFL teams?
  9. Typical Blue Kool Aid chuggers. Only want to look at the good side of the equation. We won ugly. I'll take the 2 points, but 20 great minutes doesn't make the whole game good and we barely won. Nichols got 87 of his 331 yards on a single big play. We beat Regina, the worst team in the league, not one of the good teams. They put up almost 400 yards against us without 2 or 3 of their starting receivers. They won TOP. They came back from 14 down with 12 minutes left in the game. They didn't even have 7 full time NI starters cuz they lost Muamba during the week and they have weak NI's to begin with. They fumbled a KO inside their 10. Maybe one of the stats guys can look back and see how often a team wins when they do that or how often teams win when they turn the ball over 2 more times than the opposition. . Glenn threw deep into double coverage twice. He only got away with it once. He stared down his receiver for an Int with 55 seconds in the half. We got 10 yards and 0 first downs in the first quarter. We didn't outplay them in the 2nd. We didn't get our first drive until less than 3 minutes on the clock and we scored our first TD when 1:04 was remaining in the 2nd. We had a great 20 minutes where we owned them, late in the 2nd through the 3 minute mark in the 4th. We didn't outplay them in the 4th they scored 14 straight points to tie the game up during which time, they kept us off the board. We didn't outplay them in OT. It came down to them missing a short FG, while we made ours.
  10. Riders receivers have some injury issues. Owens on the 6 game. Lost Collins last week. Lost Holley and Demski during the game. Lost Muamba during the week causing them NI problems too.
  11. The other 72 CFL games he played in had an entirely different scheme and no playbook? Nope. Just nope.
  12. Use a VPN (PIA) and virus software (BitDefender) (My choices in brackets) and you won't get hit with ransom ware. I store my personal data in the cloud (More than one place for each piece of data) after my computers and USB's were all stolen at the same time.
  13. The Riders might not be as bad as most around here think they are. If their crappy kicker could make FG's from inside the 35, they'd most likely be 1-0-1 right now.
  14. I'm not saying Nichols stunk or that we'd be better off without him. I'm saying that you can't just ignore his bad play, like the entire first quarter, when you analyze how well he did.
  15. Nichols should have tossed 6 TD's last night. He missed 2 wide open receivers who were behind the defense.
  16. I didn't see Lankford as much of a threat as McDuffie was. I'd like to see what Thorpe can do. Wouldn't want to risk Dressler.
  17. Nichols had a great 20 minutes last night, helped by an INT, a fumble recovered inside their 10 and 2 completely blown coverages. He managed 10 yards and zero first downs in the first quarter. He missed 2 wide open players in the end zone. All this against what most fans consider to be the worst team in the CFL.
  18. Hurl having a great game last night doesn't mean that he didn't deserve most of the criticism he's had around here.

  20. Yup. Use the 'Made In Canada IPTV' Add on. Tune in 5 to 10 minutes before the game starts so you're not competing with everyone else.
  21. Interesting. Thanks Jpan. Still doesn't make sense to me. If the QB throws the ball forward, it's a live ball that can be intercepted. If he throws it backwards, the refs pretend it was thrown forward?
  22. Part 1: He didn't drop the ball because he went to the ground, which is where the survive contact comes into play. He caught the ball then lost it on the hit. The only question is did he have the ball long enough to be called a catch or not. I think he did. Obviously you don't. Part 2: I'm talking about the play where the Stamps recovered the ball and took it to the end zone after Harris got hit while throwing. Originally called a fumble, overturned by the C'mon Center. Ball is clearly thrown backwards IMO.
  23. Player makes a catch by the sidelines. Only gets 1 foot down. Called a catch, every time. Same should hold true on the field. Player makes a catch. Gets one foot down. It's a catch. If he then gets blown up and fumbles, it's a fumble. Bigger question in my mind is how the heck was Harris' fumble for a TD, not called a fumble? Sure, his arm was moving forward, but the ball ended up being thrown behind him, behind the LOS, which is a lateral, which becomes a fumble.
  24. Harris came into the game with a throwing hand injury and took a beating last night. Every time they showed him on the sidelines, he had ice on his arm. Once, he was getting a calf massage too. He still came back into the game and threw deep balls on time, on target. Hardly Glenn like.
