  1. It's just a MOSism. He doesn't like the term 'Healthy Scratch' so he won't use it and doesn't want others to use it, even if it's true.
  2. Has Bighill practised this week?
  3. My Internet's $40 a month for 75M. I've got an antenna to get local channels. I stream and use IPTV for another $15-$20 a month which gives me my sports. Gave up my home phone 15 or 20 years ago. Last year I bought TSN streaming, but it wasn't great and I thought it was too expensive for what it gives me. (They also charged me twice for 1 month and refused to refund or add a month at the end.) Basically I went from $140ish to $60ish a month.
  4. Streveler
  5. That's more on the OC than Reilly. Every time they show the all 24, there's one receiver in the short zone, none in the medium zone and the rest are deep. Hard to go to the 'hot' route when you do that.
  6. And losing to the Riders would be a disaster for BC. Sometimes the best games are when 2 desperate teams who are evenly matched go up against each other.
  7. Stef Logan AKA company #0564346
  8. Firing PLAP was the right move. Doing it 8 games into the season was the wrong timing. Giving the job to Burke was the wrong choice, but there wasn't anyone else available because of the timing.
  9. What part of 'false belief or idea' don't you understand?
  10. A few things on the Montreal situation: Gotta assume we're not talking about tiny amounts of money. Kavis is definitely not taking that money out of his own pocket. If the Envelopes in the locker room is accurate, not only did the GM know about it, everyone did. That sounds like SOP for the team. Once the league took the team over, they'd start looking at the finances. Now there's no line item for 'Under The Table' payments, but the money would show up pretty quickly. The CFL couldn't allow the Under The Table transactions to continue, so they had to do something. Not sure why it took so long, but then again it took them over a month to suspend Lawrence.
  11. We left Rogers when we moved from Calgary to Vancouver and they wanted to charge us a $10 change of address fee.
  12. I bolded the part where you were wrong, not google. Not only do you want to #BEBN this year, you're arguing that it's a myth that Nichols was ever inaccurate on long passes in the first place. This weeks accuracy stats show Nichols at the top of the list. Still hate the stat?
  13. Story on twitter is that Dom is injured so JJ gets the start. Jennings is either hot or cold. If he gets hot, which doesn't happen often enough IMO, he could do some serious damage.
  14. Whitehead's caught 1 deep pass on a good throw his other long TD wasn't a deep pass. Matthews got 1 where he dove for the ball, which matches your idea. Adams and Demski, who were both here last year, got the other deep balls.
  15. Look up the word myth. You're using it wrong.
  16. 1. There you go again.. making stuff up and pretending it's some sort of point. I speak only for myself. I didn't suggest that PLAP should take no blame or that it was all on Nichols. 2. A myth is something that didn't happen, therefore your terminology is incorrect. No, being better this year doesn't equal never bringing it up again. The next time Nichols misses a few deep balls in a game, it will be brought up again. 3. I've already brought up the scenarios you've been using. I didn't say, suggest or mean 'every single completion'. Your wrong when you think that QB accuracy equals completions. All I'm basically doing is trying to correct your errors.
  17. They changed the rule to automatic review on all possible scoring plays. (This year? Last? I can't remember)
  18. This is what you like to do. State something that folks never said or even suggested like your making some sort of point. Your thinking is too black and white. It's not Nichols or PLAP at fault all the time. I never suggested that PLAP should take no blame. Of course he's a problem some of the time. Receivers dropping balls and the other team making plays are also parts of the problem. The key here is that it's not always #BEBN. Last year and years before that, Nichols couldn't hit the long ball with any degree of accuracy. You call that a myth over and over again, when it's a fact. He's been much better at it this year, but that doesn't change the past. You make up scenarios up so nothing is Nichols fault. Receivers lining up wrong or running the wrong pattern don't magically turn bad throws into good ones nor does the receiver making tough catches. It's not an attempt to discredit Nichols. It's just an attempt to look at Nichols level of accuracy. If the accuracy stats don't match what you see, it's as likely you're seeing it wrong as it is that the stats are wrong.
  19. He didn't survive contact with the ground. It was automatically reviewed because it was a possible TD so a challenge wouldn't have been a good idea.
  20. I like Thursday games too. I'd like to see a Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday game till the NFL starts. Better than double headers IMO. I'd like to see a more balanced schedule. I don't like this 5 in a row against eastern teams that we have this year. Biggest problem this year seems to be is the discrepancy between the good and the bad teams which equals too many one sided games.
  21. 1 handed catch - Adams at the 10. Diving catch Matthews only deep ball this year. Two of the deep balls that Nichols completed this year. I didn't see it as a joke, but if you say it was, then I'll believe you. I rest my case.
  22. 17 hates PLAP, so every good offensive play is about Nichols or Harris and every bad thing is cuz of PLAP's play calling. Hint: Nichols completion % is in a large part because of PLAP's play calling. USABomberFan loves him some Nichols so all balls that are caught are great Nichols plays. Low throws that are dug out by receivers, spectacular 1 handed catches or diving for overthrown balls are good Nichols plays. If someone actually tries to do QB accuracy and Nichols doesn't come out that good, suggest they hate Nichols and that they are on this site leading the Nichols hate. When folks bring up Nichols poor deep ball accuracy last year, blame the receivers. Hint: Demski and Adams were both here last year. Mathews hasn't played enough this year to be a big reason for anything. Whitehead's caught 1 deep ball. FTR: Stalled drives are all Nichols fault or all PLAP's fault.
  23. Nope. You've got it wrong yet again. I'm very consistent in my view of QB's and I view them all the same way no matter who they play for. I know that stats don't tell the whole story. That yards after beat down aren't the same as yards when the game is in the balance. That an accurate throw is an accurate throw no matter who throws it. That an off target throw is an off target throw, no matter who throws it. Its fans like you who give Bomber QB's the benefit of all doubt, while actively looking for something wrong in QB's who play for other teams that lack consistency in judgment.
