  1. Fogg stumbled and went down. No OPI, just bad luck. We got that back when their DB ran into the goalpost in OT which gave us a good luck TD.
  2. Actually they do or they'd be in trouble.
  3. You sure that's not his hand underneath that the ball bounces up from?
  4. I saw it again this morning. The first spot that the ref put his foot down was short. It was also not where the ball was when the ball carrier went out of bounds. The second mark was closer to the right spot. If the Eye In The Sky looked at it, they probably would have agreed with the corrected spot instead of the original spot.
  5. I'm a Jennings fan, but if he's not putting the work in, then he'll never be able to take the next step.
  6. Bighill - Not just for the play of the game that won it for us. Adams - Didn't drop a ball. Harris - 160+ yards of offense. I would have given him player of the game. HH - The goal post for taking out the DB on our OT TD to Dressler.
  7. Our resistance is taking an import off to get Flanders on. Last year we had Westerman, Corney and Hurl as NI's on the D, so we could afford to use Flanders.
  8. I hear you @Mike. It's just as hard for us who've followed the team since before you were born and haven't seen us win it all in almost 30 years.
  9. I guess that makes you a Troll.
  10. Lets say he signed for 150K. Less than a third of the season to go. You don't think we have $50K left in our SMS? I'll bet we re-sign folks before the end of the year with money we have in this years SMS.
  11. May I suggest that you stop whining about my posts and just let it go. Most folks around here would likely appreciate that.
  12. I'm not pissing or moaning. I'm pointing out the difference in the way the two team operate when they get to .500. FTR: I would have signed Matthews. I would have fired Hall in the off season and yes, I know his defense had a great game this week. I'd have started Streveler for the last 2 games and I'd expect we'd still have won them because Nichols wasn't a difference maker in either game. I wouldn't have signed either Wild or Leggett in the off season. Oko, because of his salary, would have been on the bubble too. I wouldn't have gone with 11 import starters + NI's on defense.
  13. We gave them a beat down this week. No doubt about it. That doesn't change my point. They take action when they lose 2 in a row. We don't take action even when we lose 4 in a row.
  14. It's just a different philosophy. The Eskimos hit .500 in the last 3rd of the season, heads roll because that's not good enough. The Bombers hit .500 in the last 3rd of the season, and we're talking about how good we are and how we shoulda coulda woulda won more games because we is better than our record.
  15. It's not an oversimplification, it's a fact that governments like to ignore.
  16. There is only 1 pot of money. If you spend it on A, you can't spend it on B without going into a deeper deficit.
  17. We've only won 6 games so maybe it's we are 6-4 in those games?
  18. Don't worry about it. MLB's don't use their arms for anything anyway.
  19. I agree, but most can still finish the games they start.
  20. To those who said this would happen in the first place and got roasted on these boards for daring to say it... Congrats. You were right.
  21. Good news on Harris as long as he's really OK. He hasn't finished the last 2 games and he had a week off in the middle.
  22. It's against the Argos, so I'm assuming they've already won it. 😉
  23. Luck is like God. You either believe or you don't and their is no proof of either.
  24. 3 stars: 1. Nichols. Best game of the year. Didn't throw any picks. Hit the deep balls. 2. Thompkins - Made a bunch of plays and a couple of hard catches. 3. Wolotarsky - Clutch catches for a guy that defenses mostly ignore. Happy Honker - Sayles
