Without question, although the wind directions is changing so much this afternoon that one must assume the fire is intense enough that it is creating its own weather systems now.

I’ve been watching the different feeds on Castenet all day and am in constant contact with our staff there. The structure fires are doing the typical, you burn, not you or you but yeah you look good to me. Know of one fire fighter whose house burned while he was working this morning but the one next door was fine (the house that survived belongs to our manager’s FIL). I’ve seen footage of boats at the end of docks catch an ember and burn. Glad to know you are safe, the first to be evacuated and leave may end up being the luckiest in this disaster.

Have been so engrossed with the wildfire news in Kelowna that I almost forgot there is a game tonight. Will be looking forward to a positive distraction and some broken stallions needing to be taken out back and shot after breaking their ankles trying to catch up...

Anyone heard from @kelownabomberfan today? He was concerned about ash falling this morning and more evacuation orders in West Kelowna by the hour it seems. Pictures I am being sent look pretty nasty, very fast growing fire. Hope you’re safe!!!

Spray cheese has gotten crazy expensive, was almost $6usd in Fargo last week. Probably at least $12 at McGarvie.

Have been a couple times, haven't bought anything as the pricing scares me; mostly US import stuff with massive mark ups. My 10yr old wants to go back and hit the arcade in the basement. Better off just going across the street for something to eat at Roxie's.

Invite the future FIL to come out for a last minute trip, show him you’re serious about becoming a Bomber fan.

Tried looking for the games stats (thanks CFL) and can find Betts credited with 1 tackle last night, can’t find the break downs on penalties. Was it 3 or only 2 offsides that he took?

I pretty much feel that 3 games a week.

I can’t wait for a chance to watch the TV feed, YouTube or something. Being there is one thing but missed there not being a replay on TSN this morning.
