In on the hunt for a new EDC bag with potential for use as a personal item when travelling. Have done a bunch of reading on so e of the EDC forums on Reddit and other places and have a hard time deciding. Any thoughts? Thinking 26-28L, would like it clean lines. Laptop,iPad slots usual daily pack out, Yeti water bottle and coffee tumbler. I really like my Thule Subterra spinner carryon and am drawn to the Thule Accent 26 backpack. Thoughts? Recommendations?

If the club had this documentation we wouldn't be having the conversation, no lawyer would pursue this in court after being presented and verifying the veracity of the documents. My guess there were other conditions to the settlement that were not financial they they would not agree too. -

They can but choose not too, probably the classiest thing Bell Media can do. If you really want to know her name, you could look it up I’m sure. Please tell me you are not blindly supporting the team based on fanship? Please be on the side of truth and support the victim, not the assholes with a checkered past. -

Have you ever been down Hastings/East Hastings in Vancouver/Burnaby? Makes our downtown look like the Garden of Eden and it's cleaned up from what it was 10 years ago. I do business with 3 locations along that strip and it is not uncommon for the metal roller shutters to stay closed all day while people work inside and the rear parking areas are 10ft fences with barbed wire on top. Winnipeg is in no way the worst downtown in the country and is not what keeps people from coming here. Weather, ignorance and the perception of what it is like here are what keep people away. -
I’m pretty sure you can buy the chips and salsa at the Red River Coop stores, Southdale or Grant Park at least I think.

Your wife had the better idea, even more so if you come across to the West side. Check out Clandelboye or Petersfield and you’ll be amazed at how great those communities are. -

You're from TO and are blinded on anything not Toronto. I had a friend visit for the first time ever in late October, stayed at the Alt across from the arena, walked to the Forks and Human Rights Museum. He couldn't stop glowing about what a great experience he had (Friday to Saturday). I will take the impression of someone that lives in Europe, has lived in LA and travels all across NA every year over anything you have to offer about our city. PS. I was in Toronto Dec 14th to 15th and spent Thursday evening downtown, thoroughly enjoyed the experience, including the Christmas market. Not quite Vancouver in December but a great experience. -
My apologies to the forum, apparently I am feeling a little punchy today, should have realized it earlier when I chose to argue about how many Subway locations in EK/Transcona in the restaurant/food thread...

Hey, if they feel that a year after they let him go as he was behind too many guys here and he's a good option now that those guys are gone I guess I'll live with that. I just have to feel that he costs more than others we have coming to camp and that the most recent history of poor roster mgmt could lead to him starting over someone that might be more raw now but has a higher ceiling overall. You have to think that Lofton signing this early in FA would indicate that we made him a pretty good offer to come, sure he can get cut at anytime but... Can we afford to pay depth more than league minimum? I can't see Lofton signing today for minimum. For me it's a combination of the player and what he hasn't shown so far in his career and how much more he costs than a pure rookie. If we are relying to have Neufeld helping this guy be good enough, wouldn't the same hold true for a raw rookie?

CFL.ca reports is as Week 19 against BC, can't easily find the depth chart but I thought was for Stan but I'm likely wrong.
-
Yes, Lofton started for us in place of Big Stan in the last game in 2022 and we didn't see enough to have him here in 2023 over Richmond. If Sask didn't want him for LT in 2024 why would we want him here to try out for RT. I sure hope we signed him for league minimum.

Is Walters trolling this forum with his Ol signings? First Kolo over Gray and now Lofton? YUCK!!!

I never get the cookies. I am usually more concerned with the handling of the GF Bun and McLeod would be the best in the area at that, although I have tried all 7 of the nearby locations, of the 4 I have they have the best service and turn out the best results for me. ESP would be a destination for us and it wouldn't include Subway, I would be going to Birdshill for Jonesy's.

One on McLeod, one on Concordia. From my experience the best sandwiches come out of McLeod but now having moved out of the area I choose between the two in Selkirk and the one by Walmart is the better of the two. Especially when the overly happy older woman is working, she is a true sandwich artist. One on Munroe by Giant Tiger too.

Damian Jackson seems little like an "unmoveable force", maybe he can be switched from D-Line to O-Line. Yes, Yes I am trolling my own fan base...

I’m pretty sure the most exciting transaction will be the player that “came to terms” with the Riders but has a change of heart…

Maybe some orders were placed for #20 jerseys but they haven’t had any pre-made since the season ended. Had have one done up for junior for Christmas.

Even as a depth signing this just feels dumb to me, shouldn't our depth be young guys learning with upside. Full of P&V, going out and running over people when they get on the field? We need to build for the future, not hang on to the past. Do Walters and O'Shea have that little faith in their scouts and the players they have / will draft? Just mind boggling, I need to walk away...
