Exactly this. Had a chance to meet him and chat last month. All he wants to to is play and contribute. Has the hunger in his eyes. Not saying I think he has what it takes to be an everyday NHLer but he has more hunger than some more talented, larger players exhibit.

I ran in to him out for dinner last Friday and had this very conversation. He’s an RFA but is hungry to be a starter in this league. Feels he has the game for it and is ready. Only slight against would be he like to hang out with Petan...

I just found a copy of that this summer, cleaning out my mom's house.

In four games Saskatchewan’s offence has scored four touchdowns. Thigpen’s major rewarded an excellent performance by Saskatchewan’s defence and special teams, but hasn’t assuaged concern for an offence missing its starting quarterback (Zach Collaros, who has a concussion) and inexplicably alternates journeyman Brandon Bridge and rookie David Watford in his stead. That use is language and grammar is just unheard of in the gap.

You could see the frustration that Edem had with Carter with the UR in the end zone. I thought for sure he was going to walk over and give Carter a shove for being so stupid. Watching those Riders does take the sting out of a Bomber loss. That Ticat team that put 31 on us will surely put up 60 on the Criders if they aren't any better than this week.

Can the Riders even count 7? Carter is #8 on the list as a WR, has he taken any offense snaps in the preseason? I'm pretty sure he's not on the top 50 list if he plays DB all season...

The business types at Sportsnet really need to call Romanuk in to the office. They are going to make a boatload if the Jets go all the way. As soon as the Jets are out there will be 1000's of cancelled Sportsnet subscriptions.
