Last regular season game of 1981, Bombers were destroying Calgary, Goodlow and Brock are trying to get to 100 receptions for the year. The game was so lop-sided that my dad made us leave to beat the traffic, but then I forced him to watch the 100th catch of the year by Goodlow from Brock through the fence, not sure where we were outside the stadium. I didn't want to miss the historic record! That 1981 Bomber team was pretty dominant, still not sure how we choked in the WSF against BC that year. Not that it mattered given no one was going to beat Edmonton with Warren Moon at the helm.

Speedflex has only relived the agony of those last few minutes on these forums oh, about 100 times at least. Thankfully my Bomber memories only start kicking in around 1980 so I have no knowledge of that game.

I would hope that TSN should be paying the CFL some kind of bonus for delivering over 1 million viewers for one single event. Definitely should be some extra scratch coming from sponsors for that.

Because myself and most recently my nephew have been bullied by these jokes. Have I been guilty of participating in these jokes? Yes. I shouldn't have. It didn't clue in for me until I heard my nephew tell me his bad experiences. Yup got that. Just didn't see why changing it to "combines" was funny. It was actually kinda dumb.

Not being sensitive, just don't get the "funny". Doug Brown has probably never been on a combine, nor would he even understand what the purpose of one is exactly.
