  1. Good for him. Great player!
  2. didn't you forget the "harrumph" at the end of that statement?
  3. Fingernails on a blackboard are better than Claire Hanna, so that's kinda damning poor old Sara with faint praise...
  4. and yet if you have to choose, I'd take her every day of the week and twice on Sunday compared to Claire Hanna...I keep waiting for her to say "this one time, at band camp...."
  5. I really don't care about the marital status, I just want my football news delivered in a fashion that doesn't remind me of coyotes howling.
  6. and the even bigger question - do we get the devine Sara Orlesky this week on the sideline, or multi-octave Claire Hanna?
  7. Right. Bridge started that game. How about this? Next year we have Streveler starting every game with McGuire backing him up, and Collaros is kept in a hyper-baric chamber until the last game of the season?
  8. Will be watching the WSF from last year several times this week as a tune-up. Of course, Collaros being the QB for Sask last year kind of is confusing...
  9. https://www.tsn.ca/cfl/video/streveler-collaros-credit-offensive-line-for-making-dual-qb-attack-effective~1825800 Quite the bro-mance brewing between Collaros and Streveler. Streveler looks at Collaros like a little brother looking up at his big bro with hero worship and admiration on his face. Strevs is just so genuine and wears his heart on his sleeve. Hard not to love the guy.
  10. He's actually 85. I don't know why he's still on the air at that age. Kudos to him though for staying on the air this long, but he finally went too far. There was no going back.
  11. his pants definitely had a brownish tinge after that play for sure.
  12. In the last minute of the game you can clearly hear the Bomber fans singing "Nah nah nah hey hey hey goodbye". Classic!!
  13. Dilworth has it
  14. With Tacklewasher, swilling copious amounts of CR. Will this be the 4th year in a row we watch the Bombers blow it in the playoffs, or will this year be the charm? Will I remember any of the game?
  15. I thought that he was replaced by Foketti.
  16. I was at that game in 1982. They played it on half a field as they were only able to plow about 35 yards wide and only part of the end zones were cleared. Cold clear sunny day, and the Bombers won, so it was all good.
  17. Reminds me of the Terence-Jeffers Harris situation back awhile ago (OMG it was 8 years ago already, man time flies) where they canned him before the play-offs. Maybe this will be what it takes to get us back into the Grey Cup game just like it worked in 2011?
  18. https://www.msn.com/en-ca/sports/nhl/maple-leafs-place-petan-marincin-on-waivers/ar-BBWqkIX?ocid=spartanntp Any interest in the D-man they put on waivers?
  19. His next jersey he pulls on may be a Redblacks jersey.
  20. I was in Calgary yesterday. Brrr…..glad I'll be watching the game from my nice warm theatre room on Sunday...with cold CR in hand...
  21. I still think O'Shea, if he sticks to his guns, could one day be as great as chief justice Warren Burger....
  22. But...Earl Warren wasn't a stripper...
  23. don't even get Speedflex going on 1972. Thankfully I was still blissfully unaware of football at that point in my life....it wasn't until 1982 that I really tasted the bitterness of being screwed over in the playoffs....
  24. Imagine if the Bombers had had the brains/foresight to bring in Hufnagel back in the mid 2000's instead of going with napkin boy Taman and then "Handled Internally" guy in 2009. Wow, just wow.
  25. yes with Calgary it really comes down to which team makes the fewer mistakes. I still think last year we were one completed Streveler to Harris pass away from going to the Grey Cup, in what would have been a pretty weak opponent to overcome. This year we're probably playing Hamilton in the Cup, and that's going to be a toughie. For anyone in the West.
