Timing of that was suspect too. 3rd down incomplete pass and turnover to the Bombers if they keep their flag in their pocket.

Honorable mention to the Command center for overturning that phantom offsides against Demski. The officials got flag happy and it appeared that the refs were really trying to get the Bombers out of field goal range. That overturn was huge as it put us back in FG range and woke up Valesi and his crew to stop calling fake penalties.

Slightly off topic since non-CFL game but thought I would post. I may have to head down to the Apple Bowl here in Kelowna to catch a game or two this year, if they are ever allowed to play here. My neighbour is the head coach, who also happened to play for O'Shea Sr. when he was with the Argos. The Okanagan Sun opened a new BCFC season with a convincing 39-8 win in Chilliwack - BCFC - Castanet.net

I think we are really missing that change of pace that Strevs brought to the offense. Strevs would come in for a few plays, run over some linebackers and smack the other team's D in the mouth. That almost always worked as it kept the D off balance. I'd like to see McGuire come in for a few plays, especially if Zach isn't getting any traction, and just kind of mix it up a bit out there.
