https://www.msn.com/en-ca/sports/nhl/the-jets-really-biffed-it-on-jacob-trouba/ar-AAD3UYN?ocid=spartanntp So was this all about screwing over Trouba and his ****-for-brains agent? I hope not as that's just bad business. I don't get it, why not let teams talk to Trouba and get a deal done? Instead we get this crap deal instead? Is Chevy slipping? Or is there more to the story?

I have that drive last year still queued up on my PVR from the Sask-Bomber playoff game, where the entire O-line is pushing the Sask D line down the field and Neufeld is expressing his love loudly for the manliness of the Sask defence. I can never get tired of that play.
-
Michael Bishop also had me believing too. That guy could play so well and crap so bed so spectacularly in the same drive. Just such a difference from where we are today.

Onterrio Smith was destined for the CFL Hall of Fame too. Too bad he showed up 100 pounds over weight.

Watching Forde maw down that gigantic heart-attack burger all I could think was "he's just praying for the sweet release of death now"....

and living with their mom is a non-issue, unless it's Jade Etienne's mom.

or who don't know how to handle things internally.

one thing I learned after that game - never be the "next guy" after either Forde or Benevides has been using the wash-room....

Shotgun is only useful in flag football, don't you know.

in his sixth year now, O'Shea is finally a veteran and I look forward to the "out-coaching" of the other teams after years of him being out-coached. -

I picked Harris as my lock of the week, so I wanted them to ram it home for a TD with Harris carrying the rock! -
Calgary D definitely not the same D we saw last year. Big drop off.

Nope!

why does Masoli always seem to shoot out the lights against us and then crap the bed against others? I don't get it.

Riders @ TiCats: 2019 Kickoff
kelownabomberfan replied to USABomberfan's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
“We had one instance in particular (last season) with Zach Collaros where, you know, we didn’t do a good enough job of getting him off the field fast enough,” Ambrosie said. “There was some learning there, so, you know, I think for as many good things there were a few that need some attention as we…move towards 2019. “I think everyone feels strongly that we need to think about options. How we detect those head-to-head hits and should we use the Command Centre is a question that’s on the table. We had an additional official in our playoff games; we thought that was an appropriate way to…put in place something that might help. “I think we need to put it all on the table and think about how it can help us.” If these recommendations are approved at Board of Governors meetings later this spring, it’ll go a long way in limiting dangerous hits to the head. It’ll also minimize the chance of a repeat of the October incident Ambrosie referenced. Think about it from the perspective of a linebacker or defensive end. Instead of leveling a high impact hit that could carry the risk of hitting the neck or head area, I think a lot of guys will ease up. Yes, players are conditioned to play hard to the whistle, but the risk of costing your team 25 yards, or almost a quarter of the field, is a powerful deterrent. The same is true with knowledge an eye in the sky is always watching. Not only has the CFL talked at length about improving player safety and protecting quarterbacks, this past week proves it’s more than just lip service. The league is doing more to deter head hits than any other governing body in football. If that’s not a prime example of actions speaking louder than words, I don’t know what is. https://www.cfl.ca/2019/03/25/steinbergs-mmqb-actions-speak-louder-words/ -

Riders @ TiCats: 2019 Kickoff

I would hope that there is some sort of policy to end players' careers before they have too much long-term damage, and also to provide them with help and support in the future when these injuries inevitably end up causing issues in the future. I would hate to one day see Zach Collaros living in front of a 7-11 in Kenora with Joe Murphy. -
