  1. Or Vancouver.
  2. That was the knock on the Maple Leafs for years. Don't see the Bombers in the same light.
  3. at least we scored two touchdowns in that game...
  4. maybe he can go hang out with Toby in Sweden. That should humble him. Anyway, it would be cool to see Vesa in the WJC this year playing for Finland. Unfortunately not all kids follow the same career development path. We've been a bit spoiled with Roslo and Connor working out so well.
  5. what's Marcel Bellfool doing these days?
  6. what sign did you go with?
  7. RIP Dan Maloney, former Winnipeg Jets 1.0 coach. https://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/former-maple-leafs-player-coach-dan-maloney-dies-age-68/
  8. I find this "per capita" argument spurious at best. It's easy for countries in cold climates like Norway to have a lower footprint because they are much more densely populated on a relatively small land mass. If Norwegians had to fly six hours to get across their country they would have a much higher footprint too. Canada and Russia are similar, and yet Russia has a much higher population too. It's cold in Canada. Our "per capita" footprint is going to be high, because we don't want to freeze to death, and we have to travel a long way to see each other.
  9. time to find Myers a new home.

  11. especially if you do it with a grin...and hair on your chin...
  12. Don't take any responsibility when you play bad? Look sad all the time?
  13. Or you could just tell us who sings it...
  14. Yes. Yes it did. North Pole, 1958. A lot of what we are being fed by both sides is propaganda. The truth lies somewhere in the middle, as with almost everything. https://wattsupwiththat.com/2009/04/26/ice-at-the-north-pole-in-1958-not-so-thick/
  15. it's really not that obscure. The world's most interesting man ad campaign was pretty popular. I actually assumed that you were quoting from it.
  16. You sound like the world's most interesting man! Do you live vicariously through yourself? Can you speak Russian, in French? Did you once have an awkward moment, just to see how it feels?
  17. Going to McMahon is like a trip back in time to what stadiums used to be like. Hard to believe that its Calgary now with the oldest stadium in the league. Built in 1960!
  18. the funny thing is that we almost beat the Edmonton starting line-up with our scrubs, including their starting QB, who played the entire game. We had a receiver kicking our field goals for goodness sakes!
  19. those are Brock Ralph-like numbers...
  20. now you will just be called a creepy old man...
  21. TW and I won't make it through the first quarter...
