  1. no matter what happens, this has been great playoff experience for all the young'uns, including Scheif, Lowry, Ehlers, Laine, Morrissey, Trouba, Copp, Armia, Roslo, Connor and Tanev. I hope we can keep this core together with a sprinkling of new blood next year including possibly Vesalainen and Lemieux. If we go out in Game 7 in a close one, all of these guys can hold their heads high, and have a chip on their shoulder for next year, just like Nashville has a chip this year. The Oilers had a great team in the 1980's, but they didn't really get anywhere for the first few years in the playoffs with their young core either, and in 1983 they got beat in the finals by a much more experienced New York Islander team, who knew what it took to win at that level. It takes awhile for these young guys to truly see the sacrifice and hard work it takes to get far in the playoffs.
  2. I was hoping that they would come out strong like they did against Minnesota and finish Nash off early so the fans could sing NA NA NA HEY HEY, but it didn't happen. This Nashville team is on a mission. They aren't going to just roll over. Our youth and inexperience are coming out all over the place. Laine and Ehlers appear to have been neutralized. It falls on Wheels and Scheif here. And Wheels doesn't look right. Not sure what's going on with him.
  3. yeah, I guess so, but if he was so effective it didn't make sense to pull him for Fiala in game 5. Fiala is by far a better player. I guess Hartnell got into Buff's head? I don't know.
  4. Is it confirmed that Hartnell is playing? Good, they are playing their old slow bum, let's not copy them by playing Hendricks. Roslo - it's a no-brainer.
  5. No they aren't. Someone smart told me they suck.
  6. We're on a roll...we got Mathieu Perreault...
  7. Can someone post this article?
  8. Kudos Kyle, on a job...done...
  9. didn't look like it to me. And Wheeler wasn't injured so that plays into it too.
  10. The bigger question is - will we all need liver transplants by the time these playoffs are over? And is Gimli pumping out enough rye to keep up with demand?
  11. I hope Perreault makes it through at least one game in this series. It seems that whenever the going gets rough, Perreault gets going, to sick bay. Followed pretty quickly by Enstrom.
  12. I am thinking Subban urinal pucks would be big sellers at the street party...
  13. Ok. Maybe Burke was only 3 beers in.
  14. On this you and I are in agreement. Hendricks was a dumpster fire tonight.
  15. Why was this so hard for you to admit?
  16. Or you could live in the real world
  17. Enstrom just plain sucks. Like my goodness.
  18. Is he from Winnipeg? If not, then no.
  19. Burke appeared drunk to me on Sportsnet this afternoon. He called the coach of the Bruins "Butch Cassidy" (not sure if that's his nickname, if so then I apologize) and he and Elliot seemed to disagree on several points about the Tampa/Boston game. To the point of being polar opposites. It was kind of awkward.
  20. let's see how badly Buffalo can screw up Dahlin. Maybe Chevy can fleece Buffalo again in five years and get him for a few dumpster fires like last time.
  21. I wonder how much losing Austin Watson is going to affect them.
  22. Sorry but your opinion on what constitutes good isn't really very reliable.
  23. Looks like Vegas is the team to beat. Just a machine.
