    Jets seem to use a lot of centers as wingers (Roslo/Copp for instance) so just because you are center with the Moose doesn't make you center with the big club.

    record the Oscars on the PVR, then fast-forward through all of the long boring speeches. That's what Mrs. KBF does. Oscars ends up being about 20 minutes long.

    once every four years CBC digs up Steve Armitage to do the Olympics, otherwise he's pretty much gone from sports-casting.

    yeah I don't think I saw Norway win one medal all Olympics because they barely competed in any of the sports that Canada was good at. So weird. Exception might have been a few of the skiing events.

    I remember my dad springing for Mcdonalds section tickets $5 a ticket. I definitely couldn't see past the blue line of the far end. We had to watch the Tv's in the rafters.

    Justin's first day in QP after India (yesterday was budget day so didn't count). After watching Trudeau just babble nonsense in response, I don't know why they bother with Question Period. It will never be called "Answer Period", that's for sure.

    Goalies are just bigger and better these days too. And D-men are better. Game is a lot faster now too. How many of these goals would Selanne score in today's NHL?

    Imagine how many points Teemu would have gotten with no red line? I am talking 1993 Teemu here. I honestly don't know how teams would have been able to defend against him. They would have had to have one defenseman sitting on his own blue line all game.

    That's what I was trying to say - it was not uncommon to have many players that were well over 100 pts in scoring in a season. Now you barely get more than one a year. Quite a different situation.

    a record I doubt I will see broken in my lifetime, with the way the NHL game is played now.
