the way Loffler was playing in his rookie year with the big hits he was not going to have a very long career. He also wasn't going to remember his name for much longer either.

Hindsight is 20-20 but at this stage I am almost in agreement with going with Peterman or Simonise at Bowman's spot and giving the D another import to work with, or giving one of the young guns on the PR a chance. Would the D benefit from another import? I don't know. I know JBR was saying he wasn't happy with Loffler this year. Yesterday's game might have masked Loffler's bad play due to the terrible Argo offence.

I was checking out their roster, it's pretty slim picking. Even their prospects look weak. Kieffer Bellows? No thanks. Matt Barzal would be interesting but there's no way they are parting with him.

TSN really bugs me - there are a lot of replays that just don't get shown. Not sure why they couldn't have shown what O'Shea was challenging there. Duane Ford made some comment about how he thought they should allow challenges for illegal contact on a receiver and then Rod Black just messed up the conversation as always. You would think though that O'Shea would know that illegal contact isn't challengeable. I didn't understand it myself.

Man I would have loved to have been a witness at an arbitration hearing for Toby Enstrom.

A little harsh - you don't know what most of us do daily. I will admit my knowledge of NHL arbitration isn't at expert level, but I think a few of us were just commenting on what seems to be a pretty preposterous situation, where the two sides go in so far apart. It makes it appear unnecessarily combative, when in fact Trouba and the Jets relationship may be quite cordial.

CFL injury reports are notoriously unreliable. I've seen guys get pulled right before game time. And for the record, I said Jackson "might be nicked". I just saw something on CFL.ca from Dickenson, but that was a few days ago. If he is playing, then great. Don't base your picks on me alone, do the research. I just wanted to give people a heads up.
