Still remember losing in Bantam provincials to Killarney. They skated around the ice with the trophy making obscene gestures at us and our parents in the stands as we were lined up waiting for our silver medals. Sweden definitely thought they were going to win that game. They sure complained a lot too during the game when taking those stupid penalties. That one kid Dahlen stuck his leg out and tripped the Canadian guy, totally blatant, and he was still whining about it. Then he destroyed his stick on the glass when he got beat by Formenton on the empty-netter. I knew they'd be sore losers.

If Glenn signs with Edmonton I believe that he completes the set and will have played for every team in the league, or at least been a member of every team. That has to be a league record, that I don't think will be broken in any of our lifetimes.

I've been a Star Wars fan since I saw the original in 1977 (I think, might have been later) in a theatre in downtown Winnipeg. I thought that this was a lazy effort in terms of writing and an insult to fans. When I saw that Lawrence Kasdan wasn't involved, I knew there would be trouble. He's been the real brain behind this entire franchise from day one, or at least since Empire, in my opinion.

I didn't say that they are better without Enstrom and Buff, I just said that they were much better than Edmonton's D. Watching our guys walk around their D consistently was amazing to watch. We should have won that game 10 - 0. Can't believe Armia missed the net on that feed from Lowry, and that Ehlers rush should have resulted in a goal too.

what stood out to me last night was how dominant our D was compared to Edmonton. Almost no mistakes, while Benning looked like Bambi out there. And team speed. Our guys made Edmonton look like they were standing still. Our skill level is hard to beat. When our guys are skating, not a lot of teams can keep up the pace.

yup - just go with a plot-line whereby the First Order starts building another Starkiller base that's fully operational and have its power shield be on a forest moon inhabited by cute little furry creatures and boom, great story line.
