Ok, yes this administration is acting like one that has no political experience, and of course, the top guy is a spoiled man-child. But that being said, something had to be done about the failing Obama-care. It wasn't working. I asked my friend (the same one who voted for Trump because of the Democrats ignoring illegal immigration) about Obama-care, and what the problems are in her mind. Here's her response: So something had to be done, in my view, and in the view of actual voting Americans who were unhappy with the system they had. Will the Republicans fix it? We shall see. It's a bit early yet to judge though, isn't it?

As bad as Trump is, it appears that the DNC is even worse. Those thinking that the US is going to swing drastically to the Dems in the 2018 primaries and in 2020 should re-think this feeling. The Dems have to figure out first who they are and what they represent, because right now it's not the majority of US citizens.

still haven't gotten around to talking to my relatives on this one, but the above statement does ring a pretty large bell. I know farmers were getting arrested for going across the border to sell their grain. It ain't right to stop farmers from marketing their grain on their own, and especially ain't right turning them into criminals for trying.

Hellebuyck definitely shows flashes of greatness. Last night against the Isles he made some jaw-dropping saves. The problem is that he also still lets in too many floaters. I think its a combo of experience and confidence. The Jets need to invest in a goal-tending coach that is going to build on Helle's strengths, and build his confidence.

we're not going to make the playoffs this year. It's over. Too many injuries and not good enough goal-tending. Next year if we can somehow get some help on D (and Myers is healthy) and Little doesn't get hurt on his first shift, Helle continues to develop and we get him the goaltending coach and mentoring he needs to gain some confidence, and Connor and Roslo make the jump and give us some offensive punch, then I think we can push for a wild card. I am hoping that Chevy can work some draft magic and we can grab Cal Foote in the draft, but I know that's not going to happen. And yes, I am an unabashed Kelowna Rockets homer, so yes I am biased.
