  1. imagine another Bond on the other side between Goosen and Foketi/Hardrick. Andrew Harris would get 250 yards of rushing every game. The only issue would be having to start another NI at WR or at LB/DB.
  2. yes well if we do gloat too much they will threaten to not attend the Banjo Bowl. We know they are bluffing as they all want to take advantage of their annual exposure to indoor plumbing.
  3. watching the play again, the Argo player jumped right in front of Goosen, who seemed to just react to the jump by snapping the ball, rather than waiting for the cadence from Nichols. But that's just my observation.
  4. you mean like its coming around for the Riders right now?
  5. Saskatchewan, life had just begun But now Chris Jones has gone and thrown it all away
  6. Boy am I glad that this kind of circus is now in Regina. Looks good on those arrogant bozos.
  7. I'm just a poor boy, I need no sympathy....
  8. when I am fighting off a fever the only prescription for me is more cowbell.
  9. Watching that game again I have to say that we got lucky on the drop by Wallace Miles that should have been a TD. He was open and Kilgore dropped it right in his hands. If he had caught that pass it would have been 20-17 and potentially changed momentum big time. Anyway, you make your own luck and the Bombers are doing that now. One other play that stood out - in the third quarter we were third and more than a yard. Previously we would have punted but we went for it, Nichols went behind Bond and got two yards on the sneak. Bond on the OL has given the offense so much confidence. I hope that Neufeld never comes back, sad to say. The turnaround of the OL since he left has been monumental.
  10. My favorite Bomber game of all time.
  11. He's wasn't saying "win with some class"? I hear that's great advice too.
  12. The last few Bomber games for me have been like a trip down memory lane. A lot of our wins back in those glory years of the 1980's were exactly like the Toronto game. Our offense usually wasn't ever that over-powering, especially after Clements was done, but it was always good enough to capitalize on the many turnovers generated by our unbelievable defense. The game would look like it was going no where, and then boom, Ty Jones would steam roll over a QB and Stan Mikawos would pick up the ball and start running (see 1984 Grey Cup) or Rod Hill would make a big interception and turn the whole game around. But the key wasn't just creating turnovers, it was having an offense that could capitalize on them and score TD's, not just field goals. Having that killer instinct to make the other team pay. The past few games we have finally gotten that offense. So happy to see it.
  13. All tied up! That Collaros is just amazing.
  14. yeah I have to say that it isn't a coincidence that the offense started playing better once Mr. Bond came on the scene. And that happened with the emergence of Mr. Loffler as our new star safety giving us the roster flexibility. Would Willy be doing as well as Nichols if he had three Internationals starting from day one instead of Pat Neufeld at tackle? That is an interesting question.
  15. that makes sense.
  16. Yikes. If this is what Rider fans actually believe then they are really more delusional than I ever thought. Just ridiculous.
  17. Jones clearly says “Win with some class.” And sources have confirmed that’s exactly what the 48-year-old coach said. http://3downnation.com/2016/08/13/chris-jones-exchanges-words-dave-dickenson-stamps-victory/
  18. Doesn't Willy always wear his helmet on the sidelines?
  19. Well that's just because they don't understand the CFL ratio rules like this guy.
  20. yup and I still remember the "Oh no I'm going to die" look on Willy's face when Thomas came into the game at guard...
  21. is Logan Stanley going back to junior? Or will he stick with the Moose?
  22. Milt miracle #2 coming up?
  23. wow Toronto has five Nationals on their OL. How did they pull that off? Gives them a lot of roster flexibility on defense.
  24. Orridge has his salary covered now for the year at least. Good to see the circus has finally left town and moved west to the armpit of Canada.
