  1. After reading this article about Travis Bond, and seeing some write-up of the first exhibition game by one of the guys who blogs about the Bombers who was raving about Bond's performance on the O-Line in that game, I've been waiting for this guy to get in the line-up and give our O-Line some size and some attitude. Finally, he's in, and I hope he's here to stay. I pity the D-Line trying to rush against Bryant and Bond on the left side. Andrew Harris, I think we've found you a permanent worm-hole to run through. http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/sports/football/bombers/the-name-is-bond-travis-bond-381687671.html Welcome to our O-Line Mr. Bond. We like our opposing D-Lines shaken, and stirred.
  2. When I saw #35 running down the field with the ball after making a huge play on D for a second I transported back in time to 1984.

  6. yup. But he's going to win.
  7. I realize the left is tearing its guts out that Trump is the Republican nominee but boo-hoo, you little snowflakes brought this on yourselves with your political correctness and constant guilt garbage. I am no fan of Trump, but he's going to wipe the floor with your precious lying Hillary. Why? Because he doesn't play by the rules. Why? Because he doesn't have to. He doesn't have to worry about running for governor or keeping his Senate seat after this election. It's all hands on deck all out warfare, and Hillary doesn't stand a chance. She's fighting a guy with a machine gun with stone age weaponry. Case in point: Stick a fork in her. Hillary is done.
  8. It is the dawning of the age of Adarius. Adarius Bowman that is.
  9. This guy agrees with you.
  10. Duncan Doughtnut O'Mahony
  11. All I can say to Chevy regarding his trading of Kane:
  12. Still remember that game in 2009 where we whipped Calgary's butt at home. I think it was the only game Lefors won in a Bomber uniform.
  13. This might have happened if Trouba had been part of a deal for Edmonton's fourth overall. When Poolparty fell into Edmonton's lap I think any hope of getting him for Trouba was gone. Imagine if Edmonton had pulled trigger on number 4, and then we got Poolparty with the 4th overall? Wow. That would have required some pretty huge balls on Chevy's part.
  14. I remember the first time I saw Gretzky play live in 1979.
  15. I remember when Dale Hawerchuk was an 18 year old rookie.
  16. Sorry but I can't get rid of the box at the top of this post. I was going to say that Brad had a good long career and I wish him all the best in retirement.
  17. I don't know why I can't get this box above to go away. I guess the biggest difference I saw in Willy's game in 2014 vs. 2016 is confidence. He was playing with confidence. Now he just looks lost and defeated out there. Too many injuries, too much losing? I don't know, but something has to change.
  18. yeah but he wouldn't have been hurt because he'd have been playing behind our O-line, not Hamilton's, so he would have had much better protecti....oh never mind.
  19. I still have that game on my PVR (I refuse to delete it) as it is my happy place I go when I need a cheer-up. I watched the first half again last night, and I couldn't believe Drew Willy. He was getting the ball out fast, making his reads, and throwing the ball right on the money. No comparison to the QB we have now. No happy feet, no indecisiveness. If we somehow could get THAT Drew Willy back, we'd have an offence. What a difference two seasons and a terrible pounding behind a bad o-line makes.
  20. I was at a game in July in 2005 with Montreal that was a 51-46 shootout. Charles Roberts and Milt just went wild that game. http://www.cfl.ca/games/1229/montreal-alouettes-vs-winnipeg-blue-bombers/
  21. where is Taman these days? Managing one of Kevin Glenn's Tim Hortons?
  22. an addendum to this previous comment - Orridge could let us keep Willy, but mandate that all CFL defenses can only rush three players maximum on every down.
  23. when our defence has 5 pick 6's.
