  1. yeah but he wouldn't have been hurt because he'd have been playing behind our O-line, not Hamilton's, so he would have had much better protecti....oh never mind.
  2. I still have that game on my PVR (I refuse to delete it) as it is my happy place I go when I need a cheer-up. I watched the first half again last night, and I couldn't believe Drew Willy. He was getting the ball out fast, making his reads, and throwing the ball right on the money. No comparison to the QB we have now. No happy feet, no indecisiveness. If we somehow could get THAT Drew Willy back, we'd have an offence. What a difference two seasons and a terrible pounding behind a bad o-line makes.
  3. I was at a game in July in 2005 with Montreal that was a 51-46 shootout. Charles Roberts and Milt just went wild that game. http://www.cfl.ca/games/1229/montreal-alouettes-vs-winnipeg-blue-bombers/
  4. where is Taman these days? Managing one of Kevin Glenn's Tim Hortons?
  5. an addendum to this previous comment - Orridge could let us keep Willy, but mandate that all CFL defenses can only rush three players maximum on every down.
  6. when our defence has 5 pick 6's.
  7. Buck Pierce won a cup in 2006.
  8. didn't Goltz technically win a cup with the Eskimos last year?
  9. Connor and Roslovic playing together on the Moose for a year, not a bad idea.
  10. He would have been charged for that and put away for a long time.
  11. well at least we have a quarterba....oh never mind...
  12. man, when I see how well Ottawa is doing it just burns my butt. Trevor Harris!!! He was available!! ARGHHH
  13. oh ok. Well I guess he was found not guilty....yikes. I just watched the ESPN show on OJ - OJ Made in America. I highly recommend everyone watch that show. It had a lot of jaw-dropping reveals, including interviews with some of the jurors, who admitted that the evidence didn't matter, because of Rodney King they were going to find OJ innocent. So what was the point of even having a trial? Now of course, they are having second thoughts. Yeah, because he did it.
  14. on this part of your post, we can 100% agree. Now can we all let this go, and you can go and have your little debate with your fellow unique snowflakes?
  15. here's what happens if you dare point out anything negative about Hillary Clinton on CNN: http://vidmax.com/video/142951-What-does-CNN-do-to-a-reporter-that-steps-out-of-line-and-exposes-Hillary
  16. Good job Jack! Can't wait to see JR and Connor on a line in Penticton - hopefully they show better than last year's lineup that was loaded with talent yet managed to lay an egg in every game I watched.
  17. So Chris Williams this week.
  18. Sorry, but there were no ignorant insults. Just insults directed at the ignorant. At any rate, I think I've said my piece. I just am so sick of this PC garbage.
  19. And you can't just point at Hull and say this was some kind of deviant behavior for players of that era. A lot of players in that era were functioning alcoholics, and yet there was no help available, as no one wanted to even admit there was a problem. If Hull were playing today, he'd be whisked away to treatment (but it would be called an "injury" like certain current Jets we can't name) and he'd be given the help he needed that he couldnt get back in his playing days. It's easy to judge people if you don't look at the entire big picture. I apologize if I offended some people here but this foolish Hull-bashing got me a little hot.
  20. Yeah I was expecting an old man yells at cloud comment. I just think all of those people out there who are confused as to why Trump is so popular could look at this Hull nonsense aa a prime example. Not that I support Trump. It's just that if you try hard enough you can discredit anyone from the past applying current social mores. I had a university professor once tell our class that Abraham Lincoln was a racist. By today's standards...oK. But not in 1865.
  21. Is he still a city councillor?
  22. Ok I'll bite. What has Steen done?
