  1. One thing I noticed (and maybe this was the Crown talking) last night was how much more confident O'Shea looks on the sidelines now with Lapo in there running the offense and being involved. Bellfool would just stand there with his head-set on and it never looked like he was really doing much actual coaching. Lapo was all over the place getting in the ears of the offense and showing them stuff on his Ipad. O'Shea just looked, I don't know if this is the right word, but "relieved" in a sense. He's finally got some veteran experience on the sidelines to help him out. I think they will make a great team.
  2. man with that hair you could make a living just playing bass guitar in 80's cover bands. Well, not a great living, but a living anyway.
  3. yes this is definitely the strongest back-ups I've seen on the field in a long time. Kudos to Kyle. Good job guys.
  4. Also - through the haze of Crown Royal I thought I heard Duane Ford say that the Bombers have no Canadian RB depth behind Harris. What about Lochard? Was he even playing last night?
  5. I will be very sad if they give Butcher the heave-ho. He's going to be a fan favorite, no doubt about it.
  6. I liked the cut of that #33's gib. I think he's got some moxie. I hope the coaching staff gives him a chance.
  7. yes he did not look out of place. I think I heard a cheer go up on his first reception, kind of like the cheer that went up when Jade Etienne caught his first pass. Kris Bastien I think is P/R at best now.
  8. I hope Flanders makes it just so that the fans can do "Flanders" chants all year.
  9. Duane Ford kept talking about the Man Mountain Rupert Butcher. That guy is just massive. Loved watching him bull rush and take on two line men, forcing a hold on one play as he was so dominant. Butcher and Bennett, my two pleasant surprises last night.
  10. Rupert Butcher in his natural environment...
  11. Bennett - I thought I was watching Buck Pierce the sequel out there. Very impressed.
  12. who would still be available at 10 that we would want?
  13. Yeah exactly. Kind of like how in Canada a lot of the NDP hated Mulcair because he wasn't a psycho leftist but tolerated him because they thought he would lead them into power and then they could take over. When Mulcair didn't deliver they knifed him in the back. Same will happen to Trump.
  14. His story sounds a lot like both of my grandmothers and how they came to Canada. I honestly think there is a ton of fear-mongering going on. Why would Trump not allow people back in if they have Green cards? Makes no sense.
  15. These guys are total hosers eh!
  16. Fair enough. I don't want to be seen as defending Trump, that's for sure. I actually find both him, and Hillary, equally repulsive.
  17. already put the link up yesterday...
  18. What is the point of answering the question. All of Trump's critics have already pre-judged him as one, and well, it's not exactly undeserved given his comments about Mexicans, which is about as racist as it gets. So if he says "no", everyone would just say "yes you are". So really, it's a pointless question, at least in my view.
  19. I agree. He should say that. But you know what, having just been in the US recently, I can tell you that no one cares. The media is just in a frenzy over Trump right now, and will report anything and everything Trump. He is going to steam roll Hilary. It's not even going to be close.
  20. Why are they scared? Are they in the US illegally?
  21. I wonder if Jake and crew treat Democratic candidates like this too. Oh right, no they don't.
