It is my fondest wish that the chuckle-heads in the NFL realize just how valuable the CFL is and fronts a bunch of cash to the league to support and bolster it such that league salaries can be raised substantially. I realize that on the surface this looks like the NFL would be hurting itself as it would make the CFL more competitive salary-wise, but I doubt many players would turn down an NFL shot just because their salary went from $150K Cdn to $250K Cdn. Anyway, I would love to see that happen. These players deserve more money. And the more money the league can pay, the better the talent we attract. It's not rocket surgery.

Well I would like to see Henoc settle in to a long term deal here. Of course, I would also like to see Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn traded to the Jets for Enstrom and Burmi so clearly I am just delusional.

not sure why they would rush Connor into the line up. I'd like to see him stay in college one more year and show us his stuff at the World Juniors. Why wasn't he on the US WJ team this year?

I hope that Waggoner isn't the exact carbon copy of Kito Poblah, but we'll see. It's tough to tell in year one for a CFL rookie how they will end up as they don't get the playing time, especially on D. Even Henoc didn't really catch fire until his second season.

any good OL prospects in the draft this year? I realize we don't have a first-rounder this year so we may miss out on a few good ones but... on a side note just wanted to also state a pet peeve: I hate to hear some people complaining about how we "lost" our first pick this year. We didn't lose it, we got a bonafide Canadian starter in Waggoner and we got him a year ahead of time so he's got a whole year of CFL experience now which is huge. Kind of like buying your furniture at Leons and using it for a whole year before you even have to pay for it. /rant

Lapo also didn't have Andrew Harris and Drew Willy to work with. He had Alex Brink and Brock Ralph.
